Always happens, if we have someone in the news or having a dip in form they seem to pop up with a goal, same happened with Jags a few weeks back, written off but popped up with two winning goals, will have a virtual Jd and coke off you ha ha.

Hi Ed it seems Peter Reid has the right idea to both Ross and Rom if you don't want to play for Everton, see you later, and let Steve and R K bring some in that do want to play, Peter says it as it should said, I do like that attitude, GuernseyBlue.

{Ed001's Note - are you watching BeIn Sports by any chance?}

{Ed001's Note - ah ok, he made some similar forthright comments on BeIn Sports today and he is working for them now covering the games tonight. Maybe TSN use the same coverage?}

Little story about Peter Reid he is a minge bag.
When he played for Everton I went to watch them train an when he left in his car he ran over my foot in his car an stopped on it and about 20 men lifted his car of my foot I must of been about 9 I was crying my eyes out he got out his car an give me a pound. He is that tight even a copper who had no involvement in it matched his donation an give me a pound.
PETER REID YOU MINGE BAG.

There is some muscle flexing going on over the barkley situation, but
I don't think the player holds all the cards.
Koeman is clearly. whether his approach is liked or not. saying he is not, prepared to let players decide their destinies to the detriment of the club's planning. If Barkley does not sign and stays on to run down his contract. he may find himself benched a lot and that will not do his international aspirations any good.
I think Koeman is saying we have been patient, but it is time to say that the club which gave the player his opportunity to play professional football has the right to press on without being left hanging at the end of fishing line and a fair minded player should out of respect for the club and the fans who pay him declare his intent, so both sides can move on.
Or do fairness and decency, dare I say, ethics, have to give way to me, me, me. it's all about me?
Oscar.

I thought he was just stating the obvious. ie if Barkley does not sign this week, other clubs will made aware that he is for sale and he will be sold this transfer window to the highest bidder.

Off to Goodison tonight, for all the talk and speculation would not be surprised if Ross scored tonight toheat things up a little, may have a sneaky little bet on him bagging the first goal.

Baz me too little bet on Ross first goal is a great shout. Or wouldn't be surprised if RK left him on the bench haha.

Could see this being the Rom show, needs the goals for the golden boot.

Maybe RK has already spent the 30 mill we would get for Barkley and leaving him out might just drive him out the door.

I remember Mark Crossley being interviewed about when he signed a contract extension at Forest. Cloughie called him into his office and said that they decided to offer a contract extension to him so he needs to sign. Crossley looked at the contract and saw that nothing had been filled in on it. So he said to Cloughie it needs to be filled in first. To which Cloughie said No young man you just sign at the bottom and I will fill in the rest when I have decided exactly what you're worth.

Brilliant.

So when RK tells Ross he has one week to sign or be sold just remember that like Cloughie, our clubs manager will not be messed about. Just be glad you have the terms in place and the opportunity to serve this fine club for another 5 years or so.

COYB.

{Ed002's Note - Yet again he is washing the laundry in public - it is completely unprofessional.}

12 May 2017 13:35:02
private conversations have obviously came to nothing so maybe rk thinks public discussion may force ross into a decision one way or the other.

Agree5 Disagree0

12 May 2017 15:59:29
I have to agree with you ed002 on this one I wish RK wouldn't do these type of things.

Agree1 Disagree3

12 May 2017 17:35:53
Still disagree with ed002 on this matter. The contract has been ready for some time now and RB is no nearer to signing it, the longer it goes on then the likelihood is that it won't be signed. If he won't sign it then the club need to find a replacement, on top of whatever else we need, and this needs to be done as early as possible. With only a year left on his current deal the lad needs to let the club and the fans know what his intentions are. Obviously RK does not want to lose him for free so he is only being honest with the ultimatum.

Agree2 Disagree1

12 May 2017 18:07:50
It is no different to the other managers. Mourhino on Rooney and depay, puel on VVD, conte on Costa, pulis on berahino. These guys are asked in every interview about the same question and most just answer honestly. RK admits he doesn't get too involved in negotiations but knows enough to say, if he doesn't sign we will have to sell. I don't see it as unprofessional, just pointing out the obvious.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - You are scratching around trying to justify an unprofessional manager - it is a little embarrassing.}

I'm one of the most sentimental Everton fans but I'm sick to death of this rom and ross situation and not arsed if they stay or go anymore. We can't be tip toeing around these prima donnas either sign or **** off so we're in a great position to move forward as a club don't need these 2 Creating hurdles if they're not committed. Sigurdson Rooney klassen sandro tielmans plus another striker will do me fine. Tielmans is the only one out of them that would be really hard to get. Got a feeling we'll spend big on a CB Van dijk or kouilaby hopefully.

I think I've read about bidding for VVD on here about 3 times now, you have zero chance with city and Chelsea in for him.
