Mushy, I have the ut most respect for fans like you and I take my hat off to you because of your life long love for Everton and I always respect your opinion mate but please I'm allowed mine aswell mate and I don't agree with us fans making Goodison like an away match for our own team mate right or wrong Goodison in my eyes is a bear pit enter at your own risk nobody comes to Goodison and pushes Everton around.

Stef the crowd can only react to what's on the pitch, they were right behind the team when it looked like they realised they wernt on holiday no more and walking round the pitch like its the beach, no one can get up for that pedestrian stuff we play everytime something looks on they stop do 67 paces for a cb to slam it 70 yards to were they were in the first place, some matches we play like we don't want to win 4 85mins it's awful and soul destroying

Well it was a win; 1st half looked a right shambles and bad pas sing giving it away; Until the goal. 2nd half performance very good and outplayed Kiev. Rm made good subistutes and helped keep the pressure on. Barry still needs dropping, garbutt not a great first half but grew into the game; but our shape leaves him isolated as barkley and naismith want to play central.

Come on blues bloody get a result against the toon then I will be happy

Yep once again our fans boo our players. Yes I understand frustration but in the first half every time our players make s mistake the newly chant booooooo comes along, when are we going to realise that booing your own players at home puts them under pressure more Ffs can we just support the team from now til the end of the season I'm not happy with Roberto either and think we need s change but it's too late now this season just support the lads ffs.

Stef we weren't booing mistakes we were booing the same tactics that have seen us get dragged into a relegation fight and look what happened the players responded they knew they had to change style. After that the players were up for it the crowd got behind them and the performance was much better. We know our football bobby should take note

Yes but being a player and having to listen to that makes you want to run and hide and no I don't believe the crowd changed the way we played in the second half I believe it was down to what was said in the dressing room at half time just cop on blues and support the lads no matter what these are desperate times now, but hey who the hell said it was easy being an Evertonian it's who we are good times and bad just let's get the lads over the line this season then the rest is down to big balls Bill the man who lost his voice.

We made plenty of mistakes second half, but everyone was behind the lads, they were putting the effort in and that was appreciated. Personally it seems aimed at el bob.

The boos were not aimed at the players but the managers predictable sub which took what little width we had off. Much better performance again once we went a goal down and looked more dangerous when we mixed it up and went more direct. Back to reality Sunday when we get bored to within an inch of suicide. Once again for me James McCarthy was immense and was everywhere, but what has happened to Seamus? Still be difficult ask to go over there and keep a clean sheet which is going to be a must.

{Ed025's Note - seamus has been a bitter disappointment this season gray...he never beats a man anymore let alone shoot, his confidence seems shot...either that or sligo had us off with that £40k.. :)

Or Maybe ed the lure of other European clubs has turned his head who the hell knows to be honest I really don't care at this point once we get to keep our premier league status remember ed they are well paid players they have to take the blame aswell it's a team effort from management down to the kit Man.

And yes ed may he fall but at least when we awake from this nightmare and Mr Bill Kenwright in my eyes has a lot of questions to answer that's if he has the balls to come out and make a statement you could not shut him up last year but where is he now be gone with him and Roberto is what I say fraud of a manager but fake owner only sings when things are going well.

Tell me why ed you put your trust in Bill because to me he is a bottler that is holding us back I believed in him but not anymore he is a coward and where is the rest of the board they where very vocal last year Elstone oh yeah new stadium plans cough cough Ha ha a bunch of wasters get rid from top to bottom.

{Ed025's Note - its just my view stef, i see bill as an honest guy who loves the club and wants it to progress in the right manner, a lot of trouble in this world is created by people wanting too much in very little time, now dont get me wrong a big investor would be great, but i think we are a proper club with great ethics and i love that about us mate...but as i say thats just my view..

He comes on to a game were in total control of with 15 mins left and does ok, that's it ok, please change the subject I don't mind the guy but sheer insistence to mention him everyday is mind numbing and actually boring now

Jeez Mikedeblue, he has had stick for 2 seasons now. He comes on as you say with 15-20 to go. He wins the penalty, he nearly scores with a header, he plays more forward penetrating passes in his 15 minutes than the rest of the midfield played in the whole game (although I grant you that we played better overall than recently) and he still does not impress? I have posted all season that when he plays, we win games. Not because I think he is brilliant.because we have too many RM defensive midfielders and wingers who 1. do not create many chances and 2. do not score sufficient goals for the premier league. Ossie does both. Look up all our games this season and the handful we have won had Ossie in the team. In all the games we have lost, Ossie only featured in a couple. It is not rocket science to me. Without him on last night, we probably would have drawn 1 all.

There we go again - conceded from a corner (whilst never scoring from a comer ourselves) and yet again you can see Howard's reactions are just not quick enough any more - the ball goes right past his flapping arms like we've seen so many times this season - you cannot carry an old goalkeeper - he will concede every game - for some reason Martinez wants tie himself to Howard even though he will get him the sack

Have to eat my words but with a Proviso once we equalised it was like the Everton Team of old, moving the ball quickly as Reidy said into channels and Lukaku used his strength and turned it on. The Proviso is that the lads played quick passing despite Martinez not because of him.
