I was sat here and reading the below posts and thought what a wired name nostrawigus is and wondered its origin I thought it might be an anagram but then that's too difficult for him/ her!?!?

jags to lescott back to jags gerrard come short and gets it off either then gives it back to jags then passes to lescott. Oh how boring it is to watch england why dont we play to our strengths and play uptempo everyone goes on about you need to be patient in international football you dont see the likes of spain passing it with no movement in front of them going backwards and sideways we need to move the ball alot quicker with purpose.And I dont see why we cant play it direct and mix it up. maybe its just the players arent good enough cleverley looks out of his depth milner is average chamberlain is a younger walcott pace and nothing else and Lampard is not the player he was and gerrard needs to be used attacking not taking the ball of cb is this the worst england midfield. Defoe will score if he got the service GK and defence solid though.

Our poor start to the match was down to the midfielders not coming and making themselves available to Jagielka - they just left him struggling with the ball with no outlet - and it went on like that most of the first half.
During the break hodgson must have told jags he didn't mind him taking the ball forwards on his own and he looked much better - gerrard is a rated player but I reckon he can leave others to struggle sometimes rather than do the job he's meant to be doing - he doesn't cover as much ground now so takes it easy sometimes and cuts corners

I just can't get excited by international football anymore. Don't get me wrong I'm proud to be English and in my younger days did some very scary and exciting things in the name of queen and country (although with the benefit of hindsight I'd probably describe them as foolhardy verging on gross stupidity now) and can understand what it means to play for your country and pit your wits against the best other countries have to offer.
However, whenever international football is on I spend most of the time hoping no Everton players get injured and miss our games or even worse get their heads turned ala Barmby and Rooney and ask for a transfer after a major tournament.
I'm sure I'm not the only person who has these fears and I'm certain supporters of other clubs feel also the same way.
For me it's club before country every time, here's hoping all our players out there this week come back fit and healthy and raring to go against Newcastle on Monday night. COYB.

Very sad news about the coach crash in Surrey, the driver killed in the crash although i dont know his name, he used to drive us blues to away games, in particular remember him taking us to Southampton. What words can you say?

I didn't realise karagounis was on a free transfer, fulham just signed him today for the season. Watched him in euros, always loved his attitude and dogged style. Suprised we didn't look at him just for the season given our slight shortage in central midfield. Not complaining, he maybe over the hill for the Prem but will be interesting to see how he goes for Fulham.
In my opinion he was the worst player in the euros he thinks hes xavi or ozil and hes rubbishee! Made up fulham got him we should have a laugh watchin him on MOTD tommmy

Anyone else read the article on the bbc sports website about jose baxter and what are peoples thoughts on what he has had to say??
If you have natural talent which he has and work hard and keep your feet on the ground and not get big headed then you will get in the first team, unfortunately Jose only had natural talent.
"IT WAS NOT MY FAULT" driving round town with two lads and drugs in the car doesnt help, also not being fit when you are 20 years old doesnt help
Must be a shame when you get your name in lights only for it to fade a bit - if he works hard he might find a decent level I imagine - but he's got to stick in a decent couple of years somewhere to make his name again - who'd be a footballer hey?
I think he did himself huge credit would have been easy for him to sit in reserves at Everton and just took the money but the lad wanted to play competitive football and I applaud him for it just a shame it hasn't quite worked out for him yet.

I know Jose Baxter's ex girlfriend, she was in the same college as me. She said he was a dreamer and let one pre season with the first team go to his head, thought he was big time and didn't work hard at all.
Shame he had so much ability but was always over weight and drinking in town everytime I saw him!
Good luck to him though, if he works hard he will do well for himself.

Hope the hilsborough papers imminent release gets new inquest open. There are questions needing answering and decision being unlawfull deaths due to negligence. The 96 cannot be brought back but deserve justice. Justice for the 96 paul c imwt god bless the fallen and their families never forgotten
