140 million? we will get nowhere near that for them.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - £100 for both is my guess imp..

Defo ed 70-80 for rom 25-30 for ross good riddance in my opinion, can't have 2 players creating all this negativity when we all should be positive and looking forward.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - im thiking £70m for rom and £30m for ross oli but would not argue with anything around that, i know loyalty seems to be a thing of the past and to be fair to rom he has been very honest with his ambitions but its difficult when its your club, ross on the other hand has the cheek of the devil mate..

12 May 2017 12:17:37
Totally agree ed Roms been brilliant for us and has never hid his ambition, he's been totally honest and i will clap him every time he returns to Goodison. Barkley on the other hand.

Who would buy Barclay? He is not a top player, he has not fulfilled his potential, he thinks he is better than he is.
I cannot see a club in the champions league wanting him, I see him sitting in our reserves next year and walking away. I would not give him another game, freeze him out, he does not seem to want to play for us and I am sure we can get better than him.

I am not sentimental because he us a local lad, an Evertonian, I want Everton to do well, Barclay is irrelevant let's get rid if we can.

That's a good post Ed from J M W below and I would like to add which team would he improve if he carries on playing as he does for us, can't really pick one myself, GuernseyBlue.

I don't think there will be a whole host of clubs knocking on the door for barkley based on his performances as a whole this year. he is lucky everton want him because he has not yet shown that he should be one of the first on the team sheet each week, and he has not dented the big sides when you look to him to play the right ball or dominate a defence.
I have to admit I am easy about him staying or going because this is a very different case to the black day of Rooney going. a player who we knew would have a massive impact at United.
If he has sense he will be thankful to the club for sticking by him and humbly put pen to paper. if not he could end up as another blue who left in search of so called better things and regretted his miscalculation.
Oscar.

{Ed025's Note - its up to him now oscar, if he stays great, if he goes then i wish him well but the grass is not always greener as you rightly point out mate..

To attack the top 4 we need a full squad of consistent performers, this season our most consistent performers have been gana, Schneidelin since jan Coleman, Baines, davies and for the most part Lukaku and williams. Barkley is just not consistent enough to be a Main playmaker in a top 4/ 6 team. Sad but true.

Good bit of business tying Mirallas down to a contract. With plenty of outgoings inevitable this summer its brilliant news for the club.

Even though I have been critical of Mirallas on occasion its good for club. I expected big things from him when he came. For me he hasn't completely lived up to them. Hope he does over the coming years.

There is plenty other players I'd see go than him. Will be crucial for us to have decent size squad with Europe next season.

After RKs press conference it seems that he's had enough of Barkley not signing his new deal yet. He has 1 week to sign or be sold. Good enough too.

He also didn't seem all too bothered by it either. Obviously has plans in place should he decide to go.

My own opinion is I'm a little disappointed that he hasn't made up his mind. Should be more decisive and let everyone know and plan for the future. Although I'm pretty sure that plans are already afoot. With or without his decision.

I honestly wouldn't be too upset if he left, on his day he's a world beater but those days are too few and far between. If we could do a deal on sigurdsson to replace him I'd be very happy. Much more consistent performer, wish we had the money to buy him when he left Spurs.

With Europe next year imo we need as much talented players as we can. There will more than likely be a good few players coming in as it is. No need to replace Mirallas now. Good players are hard to come by.

I agree he is not consistent but it would not be easy to replace him with as good or better player than he is.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - that would depend on a couple of things for me NBTB, if he is committed to the club even though he may not be a regular starter, and how much would we get for him to purchase a replacement mate..

11 May 2017 18:41:04
Exactly Ed025. Imho he is worth more to us than selling. He's 30 this year. Could we expect anymore than £10m? I doubt it. Might not even get that.

I think he is committed. If / when he signs I guess that's a commitment in itself as he will more than likely finish his career at Everton. I expected big things when he came because he showed good promise. For some reason it didn't take off. Maybe next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i keep saying that though NBTB, he has oodles of talent i think but lacks application..will the real kevin mirallas please stand up..
