If moyes was a man of integrity, he would offer his resignation, failing that, a chairman with a backbone would fire him. The trouble is nither man has a backbone, and both lack any sence of integrity. They are destroying our club, it is not theirs, they are just the custonions, their arogance and greed is all they will be rememberd for {Ed025's Note - i hope not..moyes done well for 8 years..it would be a shame if he was remembered as a failure, but i agree that his management skills have gone downhill, and that its time for him to stand up and be counted..or ship out..

i have justed watched the spurs game and to be brutaly honest s**te is a quite nice word to describe it i have watched everton f c since the age of 5 i am 55 years old now and am in tears watching my beloved blues become a team of no class no morals and an egotisical t**t running the club for me moyes is a gutless b**tard for not standing up to kenwright a few years ago at the start of the season he was told no money available then in a fit of anger moyes threatened to blow the lid off the place suddenly next day we bought martyn mcfadden bent & kilbane 2004 remember that year well that was a young hungry ambitious moyes now hes kenwrights yes man for f***sake moyes do the same again and let us be proud of you and our team once again if the s**te get to wembley i think a lot more than angry words will ensue mossley hill al {Ed025's Note - good post al....us mossley hill guys really know our stuff

i revealed that a major newspaper is to release details of major debts to the club, yet you all come back with kopite alert, i am not a kopite, i am welsh blue from rhyl and a true toffee, but my source is right, just look at kenwright today and saying the transfer money is now going to pay off the bank

Believable4 Unbelievable2

11 Jan 2012 23:03:23
yes it is not all about bill. If i won 150 million on the lottery like that Scottish couple last year i would pay off our Debts interest free and ask for payment back over a number of years. My point being that we have major shareholers who are worth a lot of money yet they sit back and watch the club WE LOVE struggle. There should be no debt if these people LOVE OUR CLUB. {Ed025's Note - they are business men...money comes first...i include bill in that as well..

Believable0 Unbelievable1

They dont like Bill and certainly wouldnt give him their own to him... Would you?

11 Jan 2012 22:55:23
Quick question for you Ed if you don't mind shedding some light on the situation.

We had a debt/overdraft of roughly £45million..

We sold a number of players including Pienaar, Arteta, Yakubu, Vaughan and Beckford totalling a lump sum of around the £20million mark?

By some very simple calculations the debt should be reduced to around £25million.. BUT, and this is my mind's dilemma. Has the debt/overdraft actually reduced or does it still sit at £45million?

If so then where is this £20million raised by player sales and why has the club not stated it's whereabouts for the rest of us to know?

*A very fed up and disheartened* ToffeeBoyJack. {Ed025's Note - i know lord granchester was owed money by the club...it may have payed him back..but to be honest, i dont know where the money has gone..

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Who writes the match reports on the official website. They describe Anichebe as 'impressive'! WTF? LMFAO!!

Believable0 Unbelievable3

That was actually real?! Thought I was just hallucinating from the shrooms I ate earlier through sheer depression of our clubs current state.

ToffeeBoyJack. {Ed025's Note - lay off them shrooms jack...you might think we have had a shot on target or something..

Agree0 Disagree0

Speaking of shots on target here's an interesting fact, you may know it yourself Ed. This season there has been 6 times where a team has failed to hit the target even once during a game, 3 of those 6 times have been Everton.. Then we have Moyes who wants to reconsider his transfer targets due to unexpected injuries in defense. IS THAT REALLY WHAT HE SHOULD BE FROWNING ABOUT!

ToffeeBoyJack. {Ed025's Note - good stat jack...well not good for us

nvestment and tactics are 2 diff scenarios dave. leaving drenthe out and playing billy was criminal. {Ed025's Note - both poor..

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Ok lets see, drenthe is not a very good all round footballer and honestly hope we dont sign him, he gives the ball away far too much, cant defend and is non existent in most of our games (yes hes fast and has a good touch but not much more) billy is on his way in this window hopefully so we need to show whatever stupid club is gonna buy him what he can and cant do.

11 Jan 2012 22:30:39
You can shout Moyes out all you want, tonight was just indicitive of how Spurs have thrived due to investment and we haven't {Ed025's Note - its a bit more than that..you imply that we have stood still....we have not!..we have gone backwards!!..

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Great shout Ed
Markyg

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes agree with you there actually ed025. Im really sad tonight, how are we going to survive this season, i was content with us being mid table at this point and then getting players in this window but now thats looking very unlikely i am very worried for the rest of the season.
You know what they say.... goals keep you in the league even if you concede them.
We concede and can't score so im very worried at the minute

Why doesn't moyes tell bill that enough is enough, he keeps on getting broken promises and he will walk away unless he gets the much needed funds. I'm sure plenty of clubs would welcome him with open arms. Time and time again are we told the monies in the bank, the cheques in the mail, im talking to buyers now. Its always around season ticket renewal time or when the half season tickets go on sale. Bill if you love the club and I believe you do show us with some financial backing from you, woods, earl, green and whoever else you have taking the soul out of our great club. Even pricks like dean sturridge is laughing at us cause were skint. Ps ste Kelly looks like martin keown

11 Jan 2012 22:27:41
I almost don't have the energy to write this, I'm so fxcking depressed with the whole situation. Do BK and his cronies actually know what we as fans are going through, do they 'really' give a shxt? We need investment or we are going down. If it doesn't happen this season, it will happen next, that's it. I will love the blues till the day I die but these fxckers have got to sort it out, or go. (Wavertree Blue) {Ed025's Note - spare a thought for me wavo i get both barrels from all the guys and girls...my bird has had to take my shoelaces out..

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Wavo I know what you mean, it's hard to get the energy to write its that depressing. I live in Essex for the last 6 years and I have to face a good few spurs fans in work in the morning can't wait.

Like lambs to the slaughter tonight. Boycotting games is the only way forward now. Look how much BK gave a crap when confronted by the supporters. Stood there grinning like an idiot, making out he was reading a text on his phone, the t**t. Fans have got to start voting with their feet. WTF are Earl and Granchester doing with all their cash? I'm really really upset by the current state.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

I see where youre coming from, but we dont want to take a note from Blackburns book, good from outside but wouldnt be so fun for evertonians, not to mention how it would look to potential investors (if there is any)

And to clarify, i agree with statements said about the board!

There are no investors, how cant any1 see that, we are in an absolute awfull state and we will be in the exact same position next year, the only way we will get rid of bk is if the club goes into administration, sad but true

I hate to say it but I think we're close to completely collapsing - I fear the worse - for god sake kenwright you've got to buy a couple of decent players - or we're in danger of going down - there's no skill in half of our players - quite shocking really

11 Jan 2012 22:03:40
From his brief appearance Duffy looked fairly solid would prefer to see him get a game than a loan signing!also got to get Drenthe on the pitch he just livens the game up which is what we need, we just look so slow going forward with a lack of movement and then a lack of pressure on the ball when we defend!nows time to give the young lads a chance to show what they can do!

Drenthe off the front man (whoever that might be) and he doesn't need to defend Moyes, totally free role heard of that???????? Something different for god sake

Just watched that, what a mess, Distin off injured and would not have scored if we had played until next wednesday.

Just had a super quick look through the remaining fixtures, I can't see us getting anymore than 3 wins against;

Blackburn
West Brom
Fulham

all at home

and 8 drawers

17 points = 41 total just avoiding relegation (Hopefully)

This is the most depressing time since the Kendall year of 1998, we need to get behind them, we have got to get behind them but Goodison like a morgue at the minute and its understandable.

Kenwright we are desperate in every way possible, No confidence, No Moral, Loads of Injuries and No Money.

We need something, a glimmer, come out and talk to us, tell us what's going on.

Relegation and forget selling the club there may end up not being a club. Come On.

Chris a low as it gets Morris {Ed025's Note - i wish i could say you are wrong chris..

Believable1 Unbelievable2

You can honestly see us beating blackburn ( yak will pop up and score a few ) west brom and fulham?? i cant, the team has no confidence and a long list of injuries, we lost to qpr, stoke, and bolton all at home, we are in trouble and im afraid its a sinking ship with big bill at the helm

Agree0 Disagree0

Nicely put mate, Kenwright needs to do something, at least talk to the fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we can't beat those sides at home we'll deserve to be relegated, I certainly can't see us beating any of the rest of the sides we are playing in the final 18 games, Dire.

Awful again. Tottenham deserved the win, there goal keeper didn't have to do anything. When is Moyes going to realise that you can't defend every game for 90 minutes.
I can't remember one game this season when we have gone at the opposition, maybe the 1st half against Villa at home is the only time i can remember us getting forward !
Saha and Bilyaletdinov should never be able to wear the blue shirt again

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Sorry mate but defend for 90 mins is all we can do now because everytime we get the ball forward our striker(s) dont have a clue what to do, also the supporting midfielders dont do anything, billy is awfull, guaye needs more games, coleman has been very poor this season, drenthe isnt the answer (although alot of poeple seem to think he is) he gives the ball away far too often and cant defend, donavon will find it very hard this time round because he has come into a team that just hasnt got anything left and believe me we will miss osman more than ever now, in one word, we are a SHAMBLES, oh and there is no quick fix.

every game is the same. we go out, defend, and if we're lucky, might get a win. we need more strength an depth or we wont get top ten. but for strength an depth we need MONEY!! {Ed025's Note - top 10 is miles away mate!..if we avoid relegation...its job done..

Believable3 Unbelievable2

11 Jan 2012 21:33:51
The die is cast now Distin is injured, Moyse will now spend what little money he can squeeze out of Kenwright on another defender. Probably a sub standard one on loan at that. If we don't add some creativity we will be in the bottom three by the time the transfer window closes. Bolt from the Blue.

spurs 1 up first half - it's quite obvious we've got quite a few donkeys playing in blue these days - and we offer very little threat - players just hoofing it away whenever we get the ball - it's obvious these teams enjoy playing us - cos it's just wave after wave of fun for them - trying different things - constantly moving and probing - and all we do is stop them sometimes - then hoof the ball back to them - so they can have another go - they must be having like at least one attack every minute - so about 80 or 90 attacks per game - great fun playing everton hey?

Good interview with Moyes on the club website about tonights game, have to say its a very dignified interview, however you can sense the frustration in Moyes about how far Spurs have come. I also got the feeling that i was potentially looking at a job interview for Spurs in the summer the way he talks about them!

Difficult game tonight, wonder if bill the liar will be at it? Either way we're always much better when nothing is expected of us and our backs are against the wall, after all is any of us really expecting to get anything from the game tonight, i'm certainly hoping we will, but in reality i doubt it.

Forget about Bill and the board, get behind the lads tonight another away game our 4th over the xmas period and another sell out by our magnificent fans.

the Of Everton’s problems, the Daily Telegraph’s Jason Burt believes Kenwright’s unrealistic expectations of potential new owners has played a part in the club becoming “stagnated”. He needs to find some buyers to allow Everton to move forward, says Jason. “In some ways he’s become part of the problem, because it almost seems like his desire to get the right owner, or to get the right structure in place, or the right amount of money has prevented them from moving forward. That might be a harsh assessment, and I understand why it’s happened, but I think sometimes he needs to think more about the bigger picture and where the club is developing.”

Ive been one to back Kenright through it all. But this Arteta money is odd, we have had plenty of income from players sold and wages saved, it just seems odd to me. We can't lie about our finances because they must be done be outsiders. Is something going on behind the scenes? I hope so. Let's all be crazy for a second and believe everything that BK has been telling us.
1. First, the bank didn't need arteta money
2. On going talks with investors
3. We aren't getting arteta money or any it seems.
If there was a takeover in progress, why would kenright give moyes 5 or 10 mil just to make a panic purchase in January? It would make more sense that we search the loan market for help in the second half of the season and give ourselves time to think and rebuild, see and get what we really need - not a panic 5mil striker who has been scoring goals in a lower league. Im not saying its happening or that its even likely because i admit that its not. But it's the only way I can think about it which really makes sense. We will live in hope. Goodluck tonight to the boys 2-1 upset for me. Call me wishful, it's in my blood. It's blue...

He's just holding on to get a profit and doesn't care about the club. Im not expecting any movement in the transfer market until he's gone!

Everton is our club boys and girls. The fans' club. The peoples' club. So when were disappointed by performances of the board and the players and turn our backs on the club - how does this help the club? please someone, Ed tell me? Because i think deep down you know it's only going to hurt. Im just very confused as to how people think it will help.
1. It wont help the teams performace
2. It will put pressure on the board, sure, but why are we pressuring them? To pressure them into selling quickly and risk the club greater disadvantaged (very easy: many examples if you look away from the 1 in 20 buys of MC, PSG or whoever else you want)
3. Who wants to invest in a club with an old stadium which we really can't fill anymore? Who's going to respect a club like that? That was what we had. Goodison. Ground shaking and it was great. Other supporters really respected the club and that was what we had going for us. {Ed025's Note - what do you want the supporters to do?...bend over all the time?....we have got to do something, before the situation is out of control..

No money too spend in the transfer window! How disappointing and frustrating! If it is true that we don't have any money to play with in this window, the board have lied to everyone including the manager. I don't think Moyes will walk out but I can see him snapping up the next decent managerial role that comes up. And lets be honest who would blame him.

I think from a fans point of view we need to keep going to the matches and get behind the team and the manager. The board on the other hand deserve no support. Kenwright is a not a true blue and he is taking this club backwards. If it is true the amount of money he is asking for the club compared to the amount of money he paid, he shows him up to a greedy, slimy, deceitful individual. I can genuinely see us losing Baines and Barkley in the summer! Other clubs will take advantage of our well publicised financial demise and poach our best players. Best get used to watching Neville, Cahill and Saha for another 10 years. Tonight's prediction an optimistic 1-1.

1. People decide they like to play
2. They join together and play vs 11
3. Manager gets players organised
4. People turn up to watch
5. more people turn up
6. People sell food etc at the game
7. Stadium needed so fans chip in

9. Particulary rich fan buys team
10. Other fans ask him about team
11. They discuss the team

anyone know where you can watch the match on the internet? - or is it a closely guarded secret as :
1. only so many can get it before it locks others out - or
2. do they not really broadcast it too loudly as it's against the law etc?

Mk1 {Ed025's Note - its not illegal....go to google and type in live football streams....there are loads..

Moyes today has admitted again there is NO MONEY it has gone to the bank and we need to accept that! Only loans in so don't expect anything special there! It gonna be another frustrating window and there will be a lot of furious Evertonians posting on here! Accept it guys the clubs going backwards and will soon be battling relegation without reinforcements, we have good players but we can tell watching lately they are also losing heart with the clubs position! {Ed025's Note - never a truer word said my friend

the best way to get a point across we are not happy with what is going on is to protest what would the club do if no one at all went to the cup game against fulham they would have to take notice or force them to do something.no money means wages not being paid this would be a drastic measure but biily b@lls**tt'@r would have to make a statement answer questions he would have to do something if we do nothing then nothing will change instead of moaning and getting no where lets do something constructive

something very strange is going on re this situation re there being no money to spend and the bank gobbling it all up all of the time - there was only 9m overdraft and a short term loan of 14m on the may 11 balance sheet - and then I think we raised 13m after this from August sales - so we should only have owed the bank about 12 million after this - the value of one decent player - so how come the bank are all over us all the time to try and get cash?
Some other football clubs have massive bank loans.
Something odd is going on I think.

(ps one worry though on the 2011 accounts (available on blue kipper) is that short term accruals were up to 18m from 9m the year before (2010) - meaning we had some big bills due to be paid after May for about 18m - (but also some incomes due probably) - it's hard to tell what's really going on from the accounts - but it still surprises me that the bank is chasing us down so hard on loans and overdrafts which are basically about the value of one of our decent players (rodders or baines or fellaini etc, maybe even barkely) - I don't believe Kenwright when he says the bank are gobbling up any money coming in - because the bank must realise that the debt is relatively small - that it's very secure (stadium and players worth much more) - so why are they chasing so hard for it - if it results in us falling down the table for the sake of investing in a decent forward - and that means we get something like 1 million less for every place we fall down the league - so we save ourselves maybe 3 million a year on writing off the value of the players contract / signing on fee - and we lose about 4-5m a year through falling down the league 3 or 4 places - it all look a bit like "spoiling the ship for a happen'eth of tar")

Kenwright and Elstone don't look the brightest of business buttons to me.

Mk1

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if the debt is much bigger than what we being told. They have lied about so much you can't rule it out.

Agree0 Disagree0

However - even if there are some money issues - it does not explain how everton - with half a team of house hold name players - internationals worth 5-15 million etc - are playing so badly - compared to some teams like stoke or norwich etc - who have players most people have never heard of - how come our big name players are playing so crap?

all of these 'smaller teams' below half way are stuffed with 1-2 million pound players - and yet they are outfighting and outplaying us

Moyes and Round seem to have run out of ideas and motivation {Ed025's Note - you have just answered your own question mate

Agree0 Disagree0

They can't lie about the money - the accounts are auditted by external accountants

Agree0 Disagree0

It's easy to work out why the players are not playing well. There is no feel good factor around the place, and the players are losing heart with the situation the club are in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bolton r 110 million in debt yet they still buy players we should doing r deals wid there bank {Ed025's Note - compared to most clubs..our debts are quite small..

Agree0 Disagree0

And its getting smaller mate and by the end of the transfer window it will be even smaller cause more players r gonna go maybe rodwell or barkley or felliani even howard is fair game

Hi all. Wizard of Osman here. Sorry I've not posted for a while. I've been busy wallowing in self pity. I've always tried to keep an open mind when it comes to BK but to lie like he has done is unforgiveable... and to get Moyes to be his spokesperson is even worse. He's not got the decency to tell us himself! What a coward! As if morale wasn't low enough at the club! Then this comes to light.
I think we're in for a hammering tonight and I honestly can't see where our next win is coming from. Forget next season or the season after, without anyone coming in to liven things up we're relegation candidates this season! BK says the Blue Union has betrayed the club.... Bill, hold a board meeting with all your cronies and all look into a big mirror. Then you will see whose betrayed the club!
If this is whats happening then we might as well say goodbye to Barkley (without seeing him play).... Bye bye to Rodwell and the rest that follow suit... Bye bye to the money we get for them... and a big hello to the championship! When we get there Moyes might come out and say, 'I think we all knew that was going to happen'.

Wizard of Osman {Ed025's Note - nice to hear from you wiz...and as always you make a lot of sense..if we do sell a top player or two we will be in real trouble, i was saying a while ago that there are worse teams than us, so we wont be relegated...i am having second thoughts on that one!..

Guys! How is boycotting home games going to help!? Yes it will send a strong message to the board but it will also mean less money coming into the club, scare off any potential investors and it wont help with the performances on the pitch or the mood of the players! It will do more harm than good! Need to be filing the ground and helping the players win games or atleast improve performances! Be the 13 th man again! There are other ways to protest against the board tha wont have a direct impact on the plyers on match days! Am i the only one who thinks boycotting home games is a very bad idea? Ed? {Ed025's Note - its a damned if you do ..damned if you dont scenario...we have to give the players our support, now more than ever, on the other hand, full gates are lining the pockets of these scum bags, and is not hurting them where it matters (in the wallet)....its a tough call...if i had to make a call, it would be to still go to the game, but protest in the strongest manner possible..

Believable0 Unbelievable2

I agree to boycot the game does not help the team we should be the 12th 13th and 14th man during the match but after the game no one should leave for 30 mins in a silent protest and up it by 5 mins each game until bill goes {Ed025's Note - how silent can we be..its hard not to shout from the roof tops how we feel...but a good idea on the staying back..

Having read every article in the press and every post written on this site, I am genuinely gutted at the state of our beloved club. Bill Kenwright/Robert Elstone have clearly lied about there being money available for David Moyes to spend in the transfer window. Attendances are dropping every week because our fans are losing faith in the way the club is being run and worst of all I believe David Moyes is losing faith in how our club is being run. In 2002 we were given a manager who had a never say die attitude and this has been proven by our league table finishes over the years. However over recent months David Moyes seems to have lost his positive attitude.

Mr Kenwright you are not only destroying our wonderful football club you are destroying our managers (still one of the best in the premier league) ambitions aswell.

If he was our biggest shareholder then he would have put his hand in his deep pockets by now, stop it will ya, he has nothing to do with the club, nor will he have in the future, just stop now, its a bad day to be blue so just give it up.

Well Moyes has come out and said
no money!! Arteta money went to the bank
Questions that Mr Kenwright needs to answer?

How much is the debt on paper..
If its to believed from what was said in the summer it should stand at 25-30 mil??

How much do you want for EFC??

Do you still want control as well as profit from the sale ' Sounds mad but he is egotistical'.

Why is Elstone still in a job ? Seems the pair cant do anything right for EFC but make it worse>>vcc

What is your vision for EFC? Oh yeah you never had in your time as a chairman you have never had a plan b HAVE YOU!!!!

The Blue Don {Ed025's Note - my trust disappeared a long time ago don, i cant believe they are still getting some support from the fans..

SO there it is the million dollar statement from Moyes that there is no money, The Arteta money went to the bank and we knew that, I think we all knew that. No Mr Moyes we didnt we believed the rubbish that Kenwright and that d'ck he@d Elstone said that they would back the manager.

I struggle to pay my bills every month but because of my love for the club I stress more about there situation than my own. This is shocking I love the club as do most Evertonions but something has to change we are falling more and more behind we have lost our chance to bridge the gap.

I am starting to lose the faith we need to be sold or we run the risk of well I dont know just not good.

There is nothing that any one can say at the moment that will cheer me up all these rumours about a take over it wont happen. The club is full of rubbish at the moment. I cant even bring myself to type in Moyes we trust because I dont trust any of them.

I would defend would club in every situation I live in the midlands surrounded by Villa, Wolves, Birmingham and the person Red fans who never go to the matches. But they have got me now I cant defend something I am starting not to believe in totally gutted blue. Cappsy. {Ed025's Note - some great posts today...and this is one of them...cappsy has got it spot on, the faith has gone..

well thats it blues, moyes has put the final nail in the coffin in the interview with andy hunter in the guardian, arteta, yakubu, beckford and any other money generated has gone to the bank, this is the final straw now, moyes has been covering for billy liar and now it seems even he has had enough, ive defended him all along, but if he was telling lies all along as well then its time for him to go as well, its like he is inviting us to dislike him now, he said once that when the everton fans let him know its time to go he would go, so cheery bye dave...

what i dont understand is why now?? and why didnt they just tell us we had to sell to survive, we would have been pissed off, but the survival of everton football club is the most important part of this whole mess and reluctantly we would have understood this...

i think this is the lowest i've ever felt as an evertonian and we have had some pretty low moments over the years...

moral of the story bill and dave...

ALWAYS JUST TELL THE F*CKIN TRUTH...

stay strong blues, rocky roads ahead, the good times are a far and distant memory...

blues forever...

jon b. {Ed025's Note - great post jon..

Its official, Everton have no money to spend in January, Moyes confirmed in his press conference prior to Spurs saying

Moyes has said that the decision to sell Arteta was taken for "football reasons" but conceded on Tuesday that he will not be given the proceeds to spend on new players. "I think everybody knows that the bank wanted the money. I think you all knew that," said Moyes.

That is enough, Kenwrong and Elstone both LIED directly to the fans, and yet, people CONTINUE to back this lying, incompetent, smug c**t. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!!

Has anyone thought about bringing in Gary Hooper(Celtic) to the squad? The guy is on fire at the moment, top scorer as well (which makes me think Lennon would be more reluctant to sell). Personally I think he'd be an ideal addition to the team. No solid transfer news, just a suggestion

Seems to me that you all
are the most negative
bunch of s**ts. All you do
is shoot down any
rumours. I am going to
give you a piece of
advice, if you want to
shoot down everything,
SHUT THE F*CK UP. IF
you want to get rid of
Kenwright don't go to the
matches. This is the only
message that he will
heed. {Ed025's Note - well that makes me feel better..

Lads, just seen on SSN website that Louis Saha was racially abused on twitter!
Why is there so much racism in football?
First Terry, then Suarez, then the Oldham player and now Saha. What is happening to our great sport?

Breeno {Ed025's Note - its going down the pan breeno..just like our beloved club..
