Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.
11 Dec 2012 22:27:55
By my estmations I'd say we have about 6-8 million to spend in January although that could go up to about 16-18 million if we were to move a few players on. Therefore, my perfect transfer window would be be:
Ins:
Forren - 2 million
Remy - 8 million
Odidja-Ofoe - loan
Strootman - 8 million
Outs:
Anichebe - 4 million
Heitinga - 6 million
I know that's asking a lot to gather that type of money, but that is just what I'd like to see. By adding those players I think that top 4 would a very, very realistic goal.

Let's not get carried away mate, Moyes said in the press conference on Friday that he will be mostly looking in the loan market. Personally I'd bring in Holtby and maybe Donavon on loan and bring Remy in the summer...

Why would schalke let Holtby go out on loan? That is so unrealistic it's untrue it's just like us letting Baines go out on loan.
Agree0
Disagree0
No I meant bring Holtby on permanent and Donavon on loan...

I know I'm getting slightly carried away Mike but that is what I'd personally like to see in January. Like I said in the OP I know it's asking a lot. Let's just hope Davey can milk his contract situation and get the board to dig into their very deep pockets! Thanks for your opinion though ToffeeMike, much appreciated.

You must have a wonderful mind then, to imagine such things. I figment of your imagination, perhaps ? Because, let's be fair, it's utter nonsense and only children would imagine/believe such things

Willie morgan as a howard keel golf tournement the guy who was his chaufer for over 10 years was once on evertons books he told me about dries mertons id never heard of him he was at finch farm when he saw him there do you think only everton players go there theres several players there now from other clubs and countries including an american goal keeper iam not the naive one tom efc
Agree0

Any idea where we're getting the £10m+ for Dries Mertens tom?, since you're in the know
Agree0
Disagree0
Yes the media have picked up on the American keeper and it's been publicised on numerous websites including the official site, but there's not a thing about Dries Mertens anywhere...because it isn't true. And these sources you claim you have, they'll not be sources for long if you keep 'name dropping'.

PSV Manager : Where are you going later, Dries?
Mertens : I'm just going to England to train with Everton.
PSV Manager : OK Fair enough, off you go then.

Just like to say, do not have anything to do with this argument but my little brother has down syndrome ed...he has been bullied in the past and been called a window licker...the term is actually really offensive and not funny at all
whats more, everton are a selling club all these fans are just deflecting the statement this guy has made... we do not have any money and he must be right in saying that without moyesy we're going to suffer big time with our lack of money.
I would like to clarify...I am disgusted by your comments and will NOT be happy if this is not posted as I would like to see your response.
Tam The Blue {Ed025's Note - ii was not meant as a derogatory remark tam. and if it has caused offence, then i sincerely apologise, that was not my intention at all..i have deleted the thread..and assure you that the term will not be posted again...sorry mate..

Oh come on!! I said this to a Kopite on this site a few days ago by the name of Big Bill, how do you know we will struggle without Moyesy? You can't tell the future. We could potentially unearth another gem from one of the lower leagues and he could be just as good if not better than Moyes. Most peoples glasses are half empty on this site....with the exception of Mike ;)

Notice to all Liverpool FC supporters who visit this site. Especially those leaving nasty comments.
All Everton supporters wish you all a very Happy Christmas and hope that all your dreams come true in the New Year. We as Blues are very happy to wish you all the best. May we politely also suggest that there is a Liverpool Rumours and Banter page and you are very welcome to leave your comments about Liverpool FC there. If you do wish to comment on our team on our Everton Banter Page, we fully understand that rival supporters often look up the table to more successful teams and a little bit of jealousy may creep in. This does often lead to what can be called bitterness and so we are now happy to pass on the tag of bitter blues over to you. From now on I suggest we all use the phrase bitter reds when refering to Liverpool Supporters. Happy Christmas. Degsypulford (tongue in cheek) {Ed025's Note - love it degsyp...quality mate..

All this rubbish about where we will finish we are 4th and are 3 pts behind Chelsea 3rd In my opinion we have consistantly played the best football yes the best the 2 Manchester clubs have grinded out most of there wins we also should have at least 4pts more where we battered Fulham and go mugged against Newcastle other games against Norwich Wigan and reading where we either dominated or had blatant pens not given but hey it's nearly Christmas and we are in the top 4 if we can match last years results from February then we can have a say in title race but champ league has to be the aim good thing is an English club won't win it so we won't have to worry about it, also Jelavic deserves a lot of credit he has been through a baron patch till Sunday but been playing well and working hard so hopefully he will be on fire 2nd half of season but when we think our top striker has struggled for goals and were still 4th now the really cold weather is here like in Scotland he will bang them in {Ed025's Note - good positive post that mate..

Cracking result - love it - but it wasn't really a great display until the end was it? - although they didn't do much either except scab a deflected goal.
I'm normally a Coleman critic but he did OK on Sunday - there's still mistakes and miscontrols etc but he was a decent threat going forwards - though his Pienaar assist was aimed at Felli and overhit - only for Pienaar to come racing in behind Felli from a distance - so he got away with it
Distin looks like he's got a bad mistake in him at least once every half - worrying - think Moyes will be looking for a decent centre back soon
shame about Mirrallas injury again
other players were very good though - especially gibson - and Jela looked OK too
bainaar brilliant as usual
how far is Naismith off fully recovered? - he doesn't just look like he's lost a yard - he looks like he's lost two - hope he gets back to ful fitness soon
Maybe we could get Donovan back for a bit? He'd be brilliant for us whilst Naismith is still a bit off the pace and Mirrallas is injury prone

how can you honestly slag coleman for getting an assist, why is it so hard for you to just say he had a good game
Agree0

He didn't - he had a half decent game for him - people should not judge the performance by the result - he did fairly well but squandered a few good chances too - and he didn't intend the assist he got - he got lucky

Most pundits suggesting that Everton cannot sustain 4th. Not sure I agree based on a few results detracting from our points tally. Newcastle, Wigan were outright points removed by officials (4 points lost), with QPR and Arsenal games both dropping points by conceding deflected goals in the 1st minute of the game, and then Norwich, Reading and Fulham results all results that either deserved more. If you took the 4 points and even one changed result from the other mentioned games, we would be sitting 2nd and 6/7 points clear of 5th.
The only games we deserved to lose was at West Brom, and we have taken 8 points and are unbeaten against last years Top 4. We have been to the Hawthorns, Swansea, Craven Ctg and the Etihad which are all difficult trips to get out of the way.
I would be less confident had we not been dominating games, but if we can keep injuries manageable, we are good money for 3rd/4th.

This text is all about Apostolos Vellios! he is only 20 which is an age he is knows he needs to try harder to get in the first team but when he came on against Spurs he brought life to the team and belief we could of taken something out of the game! for me he was involved in both of the goals the first one is where he blocked off Jan Vertonghen to stop him from tackling Naismith and then the second goal where he showed he is acrobatic with a scuffed up shot but we will say it was a quality flick on! Lets just hope he can keep up the good work and get his head down in training and he will be a rising star!
