When Barkley signs next week I am sure he will be unleashed again, I am sure Moyes stopped playing him as he was attracting too much attention. Now tied down he has got to be played as he's our creativity.

Hi all, dont no if its just me, but I get the feeling from listening to Moyes, and by his whole demeanor that he is feeling sorry for himself. Saying we cant compete with the bigger boys financially so a narrow defeat is acceptable, Biging up the smaller teams to cover all results win, lose or draw. This was not David Moyes 2 or 3 season back. I reckon get rid of round, put Irvine back to number 2 and maybe he can shake up Moyes to snap out drab situation and be more positive. For this to go on so long I get the feeling Round is a yes man. What your taughts Ed and fellows blues.COYB.

Dero ( Irish Blue ). {Ed001's Note - I don't like that kind of attitude, it sends out the wrong signals to the players.}

this is not a rumour ed just a reality check..... you do a great job lad keeping up with it all and im a regular here. but can we just be blunt... if we sign anyone in january "which i think we will. they will not be the players that will take us to were we want to be. ie top 6. for that we need an invester. but who would put there hard earned cash into a buisness that is losing 5 mil a year. . {Ed001's Note - Green has the money to afford to buy the club or to invest, he claims to be a big fan, why does he instead only give loans that he expects paid back with interest?}

Performance was a little bit better but still too negative! We do not have to right players for 451 its not working,we never look like scoring so have to change things! Ive only just managed to bring myself to look at the league table only 4 points off drop zone but 2 wins and were back in top half! Next two gmes are at home and are very very winnable! Moyes has to pick the right team and not his favourites we need 6 points from the next two gmes, then we can start looking up with a good run of fixtures to come and a nice 3rd round fa cup home tie!

This is what id do for the next game..

Howard

Coleman. Jags. Distin. Baines

Drenthe. Fellaini. Barkley. Gueye

Mcaleni. Vellios

It's like a new squad and youth and f@@k it can't do any worse than what we are doing now..at least they will have the heart, desire and belief to what we know everton are capable of. What u guys think

Rest can be subs for all i care at the moment.maybe use Rodwell to swap with Barkley at some point.let the kids lead by example for a change..might change the mind set on the first team..

After Everton went public saying they DO have money in January (shocker) Fellaini supposedly told Moyes to put a hefty on one player... From Fulham, don't worry lads it is not Zamora - in fact it is Fellaini's Belgian teammate Moussa Dembele, as Fellaini rates him highly and reckons he could be the solution to our striking problems

Believable6 Unbelievable1

I WAS IMPRESSED WITH HIM A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN HE PLAYED FOR AZ AND WOULD HAVE COST NOTHING.

I play as a Centre-back/centre-midfielder for Flint Town United U-16's in Flintshire(where Gary speed was from) and also play for Flint Town Academy, i am the league's current top scoring defender by beating last years top with 12 goals in 9 games, yesterday i was approached by an Everton scout after my match, and apparently he's been going to quite a lot of my games, he came up to me we started talking...BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...then he shouted my manager over. He had a word with my manager and Everton have offered me a trial with their Academy :D Edd do you reckon I have a chance of making my dream come true and becoming a Toffee player? {Ed002's Note - Why not.}

Great story ..flint always have a good side barry horne came from that area aswell

Whats your name lad so we can look out for you in 2/3 years?
Also, any video of you playing on Youtube? I always like to check out academy players to see if their as good as their said to be.

I can't see moysey staying if we get bought by a big money group...would love to..but can't. We'll end up getting someone like Benitez or Solksjaer {Ed025's Note - none of those 2 will fit the bill mate..

We were completely devoid of ideas, there is no spark in the blues anymore which is frightening. Was Saha even playing? Could've fooled me, as as for that lazy Russian , someone should stand on the side line with a big stick and anytime the lazy Russian stands still or backs out of a tackle they should be allowed run on and hit him!
Kurajan {Ed025's Note - i really want to be that guy kurajan!..

Thats a great shout ...Moyes out ...before we get relegated

Even though we were beaten by arsenal and yes we had 1 shot on target.
Did anyone actually go the game on this site ?
We weren't too bad, for the first time in a long time we had body's in the box when we were attacking, if it was Coleman and Hibbert down the right then i noticed that Fellaini, Bilyaletdinov, Cahill and Saha were in the box and the same when it was Bilyletdinov and Baines down the left, Coleman being in the box instead of Bilyaletdinov.
Better than previous games when only 1 player has been near the 18 yard box when balls are coming in !
They never got on the end of anything, fair enough, but it shows that Moyes at least told the players to get in the box and that was evident by the high line we played at the back.
I think if we play the same tactic at HOME against Norwich and Swansea and we get more chances on goal we should comfortably win these 2 games.
It will help if Drenthe is back so he can replace Bilyaletdinov.
If Moyes returns to the deep back line and long balls to our lone striker for these games i can see us getting beat.
COYB!
AND BY THE WAY, replacing Saha who was awful yesturday for Distin weren't as bad as people are making out Fellaini offered more upfront than Saha did for the whole game, and Mcaleny looked comfortable and very quick, i would give him a few games from the bench, better option than Straqualersui anyway.
Iv'e only missed Fulham and Chelsea away this season so i see nearly all of our performances and yesturday wasn't as bad as people on here are talking, it wasn't great i agree but encouraging to at least see players getting forward.
A creative player is badly needed, Baines is our most creative player but he can't always be in the final 3rd, he's a full back, i think Moyes will definitely bring a striker to the club in January, but a creative player is just as important IMO.
Paul EFC {Ed025's Note - good honest post that paul...my problem is that you seem happy that we finally got some players in their box!..i thought that was the point in every game....it just seems to me that we go out in games like this, with the attitude that a draw will be great, and a narrow defeat acceptable!!..well not for me mate...nil satis nisi optimum...like it says on the tin!!..

Believable5 Unbelievable1

No ed, Its not that im happy i was just saying at least finally players were getting forward because the last 6 or 7 games Home and Away we have had 1 player in the final 3rd with Cahill trying to support him.
Yesturday at least it seemed that Moyes was telling them to get forward and for the first time in about 3 years when arsenal had a corner we left 1 man on the halfway line for the out ball ! haha
Im not happy at all with anything that the team is showing at the minute just letting people know that didn't actually see the match that it wasn't as bad as previous away games.
Still not good enough and i was annoyed that Moyes was "happy" despite losing, what manager says that !?
If we do make sure we continue getting men forward and the final ball improves we will at least pick up some wins before January, then we can bring in a striker and hopefully a creative player.
I would happily pick up Pienaar from London and drive him back here if he is available. Don't know what strikers are available at the minute though, who would you like to see ed?
Paul EFC {Ed025's Note - macheda or kalou would do for me paul...but a creative midfielder is also a priority..by the way, i was not having a pop at you!..i just dont want people to think that getting a couple of more bodies in the box is a significant improvement..

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed, Macheda got to be having a laugh, complete shxte. Not sure who to pick if there were only him and Anichebi to choose from.

Lets hope Moyes does a Mancini if he does get a bit of money... (no! not go out and spend £20m on every squad player) but to take criticism on board regarding defensive tactics, and ATTACK. {Ed025's Note - i would not mind the £20m on squad players myself..

Believable4 Unbelievable1

I wouldn't mind that either, but knowing Moyes, it will all go towards defenders and keepers!
