Hi eds what do you think the chances of us getting Giroud, he was on the bench and Sanchez out injured so when he's back that must push him down the pecking order, surely if we could guarantee more playing time he would find us a better option.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - hes staying where he is mate im afraid..

11 Aug 2017 21:44:14
Carra doing his level best on commentary tonight to talk arsenal out of letting Giroud go to the blues. over stressed it because he doesn't want a blue revolution.

Bless him he's hurting with the Coutinho situation.

That's why we should be after giroud but that's exactly why we have no chance.

I hate him more than i can express! I concede he certainly scires a few but there's just something about him that i really dislike.

He does have one of them faces that looks sly and abit of a backstabber, oh wait, that's because he is.

I think he would be perfect for us pace in abundance and I think we could get him him and Walsh are very close.

As for our next signing s I think they are going to be recognised players who have option s we maybe 2/ 3rd choice but if they choose us they will still improve us even short term that's what I think the hold up is anyone agree?

Are we signing Sigurdsson or not can't believe it's taking this long if we want spend the money and get him if not move on I'm not happy about the the price either but if Koeman thinks he will improve the squad just pay the money and get him.

11 Aug 2017 18:28:42
actually agree with that Stef. No I am not a business person but apparently the sticking point is less than 5 mill. You have to think that given the stratospheric prices this Window, 5 mill is just pocket change.

Im with u and always have been, pay the price and get him in COYB.

Very interesting when we hear our fan talk about not being happy paying over the odds, we have been waiting we'll for me anyway a lifetime for investment now we have it we're concerned about spending too much.
For the final time can we all forget the fees paid its no concern of ours if we pay 40,50,60 million if we get where we want to get it's justified what ever the price, get champions league you don't look back and say we should of paid less. I'm sure PSG fans our not concerned about paying 200 million for Neymar and nearly half a billion for next 5 years.

Is the seeming disinterest in Wilfrid Bonny due to a perceived problem with his attitude, or just his loss of form?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

11 Aug 2017 22:17:11
I would imagine its a bit of both, he is probably on the list of strikers right near the bottom as a Plan Y if we don't get our preferred target, hopefully Ollie.

When one of us Blues comments on a striker needed it sometimes looks like we Moaning or panicking but in my opinion what had initially looked like a brill transfer window is now being spoilt .
Not just me saying it but Phil Mcnulty
He also recognizes that non of our transfers so far will be of any use unless we get a top class striker in .
Brill signings yes but only a strong foundation but without the roof all a bit of a waste!

The club has not finished Trebor. they are looking for a striker, a. n. other (Sig) and a CB. in my book along with the quality of the 'fringe' players. and the youth, e. g. Kenny. etc. if they get the other additions then McNulty etal will probably retract those words. there are 3 weeks left.

Don't panic things are going right way, plenty of time to get more deals done. Sigurdsson will be done by Monday and then striker will follow, i would not be surprised by a deal or loan on deadline day.

Amazing scenes! Hope the recovery remains speedy and solid he really makes our right side tick!
Did you see Koeman discuss him yesterday? Speaks highly of him and his work both on and off the pitch and had a little smile on his face, top professional is Seamus!

Hi Eds I wonder if you could answer a question for me please?
What are the conditions for a transfer to go to a tribunal please?
With the GS transfer dragging on for so long and both parties apparently at fault for negotiations breaking down, is there a chance this could be resolved by a tribunal?
Thanks in advance.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - No the GS transfer won't go to tribunal. A tribunal is a gathering of the Professional Football Compensation Committee to resolve matters of compensation for players under 24 moving when out of contract. It is chaired by someone with an appropriate background in law - a sports barrister or an independent contracts lawyer would be examples. The other members will be representatives of the LMA, PFA, leagues the club play in (e.g. Premier League, Championship etc.) and two footballing representatives. They will be unbiased.}

Thanks for that Ed002. A clear, concise and easy to understand answer.

Why would it go to tribunal player under contract and our bid not accepted simple as that, like Swansea manager said the deal is at a stage of a compromise so saying this deal will happen, only issue that I have is that
1. He is not playing in pre season
2. Swansea can't get on with there transfer business
3. He will be 2-3 weeks away from what our other players at at.

Morning y'all.

I just seen a leak of the everton 3rd kit and I love it. Can we change it to be our home or away or are there contracts that don't allow it. I honestly think our current home is boring and our away is well just horrible. So I've been reluctant to buy. The 3rd kit however I most certainly will.

theyre not going to change the kits around due to fan preference as obviously these are set in stone as first second and third kits, as you were WB.

We played in the yellow 3rd kit far more times last season than the away, so could happen again.
