Got a mate who lives in Sheffield and he is a Wednesday fan, and he said Barkley is playing awful... He goes the match and he told me most fans around him don't like him at all and would love him to be sent back to us...............

Sheff Wed are an awful team, and i think they have lost every match since Barkley has been there. We should have sent him to Blackpool instead at least he would have had better players around him.

Never easy for a young lad to join a team who is struggling. He has talent, that isn't the issue, we all saw his debut. Just about sending him to the right environment, as has been said before me.

You could put felli in the Sheffield wednesday team and would look sh*t to mate... You can't polish a turd lad!

Looking at these posts you fans really are clueless, they have lost every match since he has been there, never easy for a young lad going to a team that is struggling, well they wern't struggling before he went there, so does it ever dawn on you then that he really isn't that good!! as for the last post put felli in the sheff weds team and they still struggle well thats because hes a useless thug!! that is all

Yes heard the same thing from a wednesday fan I know, said he looked lost in most games and loses a lot of tackles and also gives the ball away a lot.
This "he has gone to a struggling team is nonsense", if he has ability he should be able to stand out in a league 1 side!
Maybe he needs to play in a different side with different style, I don't know but it is concerning that he was hyped up to death and everytime i have saw him (apart from his debut against QPR) he has kind of disappointed me {Ed025's Note - lets be honest...if wednesday had messi, and super man. they would still struggle! ..as they are absolutely crap..

So if a centre forward knocks the ball into the goal with his hand ;and a defender stops a clear goal from going in with his hand they are sent off as it is deemed as cheating.So why then when a player dives in the box to try and fool the referee into giving a penalty is he only booked is that not cheating aswell all this crap has to stop its ruining the game the FA should lead by example and start with that serial cheat Suarez and give him a heavy ban and a fine its not like its the first time he has done it and that will soon send out a message to the rest of them.Stef the blue.

Everyone knows what that rat is about so let's not worry about him. He made a show of everyone that said he gets unfair decisions ( aldridge, Brenda ect ) which he doesn't anyway. If his attitude wasn't so bad and he didn't protest every single thing that went agenst him he might get the odd pen.

Just love the fact, that the week before, the likes of himself and Brenda were whining and moaning about the mistreatment of Suarez, then the next weekend pulls that horrendous dive.

Unfortunately, you know it is nailed on that he will do one of those in the derby and the ref will be so bad he would probably send off Rodwell again (I know he is at City btw)
