is it just me that gets annoyed when so called fans cannot spell players names?
hibett, jagelika, distan, bianes, fellini, (maybe ill let them off with bily), vellious, hietenga.... {Ed025's Note - i think its just you....lol

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Wow! With all the s**t going on at our club your worried about spelling mistakes? You sad sad person! My team for wolves
Howurde
Hibart jaielca ditin baies
Colmum fellaknee rodwul drenhe
Vellos sarha

Agree2 Disagree3

Col's mum would certainly be better than Coleman

Agree1 Disagree2

Oh, the person who did the first comment, you killed it... (additional note, distin, and vellios could be doubts for the game...)

Agree0 Disagree0

The person who "did" the first comment is just a lazy thinker. you can still care about the big issues and get the players names right !

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont know abot anyone else but my speling mistakes are down to me being dyslexic! I am sorry my disabilty has affected you in such a way tht you feel the need to share your feelings on here! In the future i will try to spell payers names correctly! Shame on me and my disability for "annoying" you! I just feel terrible!

Agree0 Disagree0

Does it matter if a players name is spelt wrong? I mean does it really bother you that much? Are you like 'monk' ? :-) {Ed025's Note - i think he needs to go on our menopausal men site.....check it out..its quality

One thing i'd hate to see happen is us turning into Man City if we get taken over. I'd like us to get some decent players, but not to be spending hundreds of millions every transfer window on greedy b**tards with no love for the club. Man City, in my opinion have been completly destroyed since being taken over, sure their playing brilliantly, but how many of their starting 11 actually made their name at the club? Only Kompany.
They are a heartless club that only care abouy money and I don't want Everton turning into that.

Breeno {Ed025's Note - i know what you mean breeno...unfortunately thats the way football is now, its sad..but true..

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Hart, richards, kompany, de jong, adam johnson... - these have all MADE their name at the club, and are all there for passion too.

Agree2 Disagree0

Another thing I don't understand is why a player would sign for a club just to sit on the bench. I mean, if football is your life, why would you go to a big club and sit on the bench, instead of going to a club where you'll start and be the star player.

Breeno {Ed025's Note - i think their intention is to play....but sometimes it just does not work out!..

Agree1 Disagree0

Sorry, I knew there was someone else (Richards)
Hart made his name with Birmingham, De Jong was already a big name player and Adam Johson made his name at Middlesborough ( I think )
Richards and Kompany were unknown before they joined Man City before the takeover

Breen

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought we were talking about the club making them into a player they are today, if we are talking unknown players into stars, city are not that team, I agree

Agree0 Disagree0

WTF, since 85 we all know our side hadn't been dealt with fairly! but now we can almost taste our salvation. what's wrong with a city style takeover? we all bitch about them, but the worst players they have in there team are our main transfer targets. the heart and soul of city is still there, yes they have a lot of foreign players but also a great homebase of players too, much like the everton way.
we all can see just how good the kids in our team are going to be, mix that with the best foreign players and we'll sweep all before us,
lets just start to dream!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Kompany and Vanden Borre we both chased be chelsea for ages, both we kids at Anderlecht where all top euro teams kept tabs on them,

To be honest, if we did get taken over, i'd still like to see Kenwright high up in the club because he is a big Everton supporter, his only problem is that he dosen't have the money. {Ed025's Note - you never know...they may find a post for him..

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Just dont give him accountant {Ed025's Note - ...lol

S**t :/
Why do I keep forgetting my name. The original post was me Ed

Mad rumour here, Everton fans learn how to spell their own players names correctly, and maybe one or two players we are getting in {Ed025's Note - its no big deal mate...as long as we know who they mean..after all, its not an english grammar test!..

Believable2 Unbelievable0

10 Nov 2011 20:00:00
All this talk about formations and tactics, it's not going to work. You can't get 'Blood out of a Stone'. The only way we're going to win games and compete for the big arenas is to spend money on buying quality players and build a better stadium in a more affluent area.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What about chester racecourse?

Agree0 Disagree0

Well at least andy carroll would feel at home there in the next derby !

Ed dont shoot me down but what do you think. Let say no major investment...
4-1-4-1 formation. More attacking than it can seem, i think will suit our squad and allow us to be dominant in the midfield will actually being accountable and allowing our wingers to play at wingers... not bilyaletdinov's

think about our midfield and think about the future as well. no matter how much we might be underperforming this season i cant see us getting relegated and theres still a huge positive outlook from me on our squad and potential.

howard
heitinga jags distin baines
fellaini
coleman rodwell osman drenthe
saha

barkley coming off the bench - very good prospect of course game time will be handy for him and the team. thinking of this rodwell-fellaini-barkley midfield axis in a few years - my god (try this instead of viagra old fellas, lol)

coleman - may have played poorly in the last game but he's pacy and is tough for defenders to deal with which is just what we need - once/if his decision making with the final ball comes he'll be a ripper just watch
cahill - when back in goalscoring form get him in the for osman. i wouldnt be starting him at least for the moment because were lacking quality in the final third - id much prefer him in there when he's getting some good service, meanwhile id put osman in there at the moment because we need a creater and although he's not the most gifted we've seen he's definately capable.

AussieBlue {Ed025's Note - you seem to have all the answers aussie!..i say why not...it cant be any worse than what we are playing at the moment..

Keith Harris has been on ssn saying we are for sale at £150m. What a joke. Anyone who defends kenwright, woods, earl and elstone wants the heads looking at. They are complete lying greedy t**ts trying to milk the club dry. How the hell they can ask for that much is beyond me. They have stripped the club of all assets and we have a s**te commercial revenue. Blackburn were sold for i think £45m so i would say we should be valued around £75m {Ed025's Note - i am no accountant...but that does seem high!..

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Am on my mobile an dnt no how to just post so I have to reply to a post so new topic sorry, I work at jaguar land rover in liverpool Currently owned by TATA motors, today we got told to tidy our area bcoz mr tata himself ( da head man at the company) was in the plant on a suprise visit, mite b grabbin at straws here but cud he b here for talks with everton, he has been linked with the club b4 and this visit was competly up planned! Maybe nothin thought I wud share it tho

Johny89 {Ed025's Note - he was at the plant today, your right.....but whether or not he is planning to visit everton im not sure....but lets hope so

Agree1 Disagree0

As I said it may be nothi ed but just thought it was bit strange him comin to the plant today out of the blue wen we are makin all da noises over takeovers

Johny89 {Ed025's Note - glad you posted it johny...it gives us all a bit of hope mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Wud love it if he did, he is feckin loaded! Haha

Johny89

Agree0 Disagree0

Did you ask him about Everton? You should have, but not directly come out saying '' Are you going to buy Everton FC?'' Would have been interesting to hear his reply. {Ed025's note - it would make no difference...it would probably be in urdu...lol

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Get rid of hibbert? lost my vote there mate. {Ed025's Note - he has done ok this season, he is not blessed with the greatest skill....but no one can fault his commitment and passion when donning the blue jersey..

Agree2 Disagree0

Ok hibbert isnt the best goin forward but you will hardly see anybody beat him in a 50 50 and his passion, commitment and utter love for the club cannot be questioned {Ed025's Note - your right mate..

Agree2 Disagree0

I would add moyes to that with billy and neville

Agree0 Disagree0

You no how bad things are when ppl say they rate hibbo,he gives is all,big deal, hes on 15 grand a week, hes crap, hes always been crap, and always will be end ov.weve ad better free transfers paul power supberb player.pace power skill, and a football brain, hibbo well he gives is all so that will do,how sad

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely love Hibbo so it pains me to say, I agree with the above. He's complete turd. A championship right back. Get Shemus back there, fill his midfield spot with another attack minded player.

lets have a vot on here all who support Bill and all who dont ps no red sh@@e to post i vote for bill

Believable8 Unbelievable1

I love Bill and I think anyone who doesn't has a very short memory, strange really when we always sing "if you know your history". Bill saved the club, his life would be alot easier and he would be alot richer if he would have left Peter 'cheese and onion oven chips' Johnson to take us under!

Agree5 Disagree1

I love bill, but thats not the point is it, yes he saved us but he can no longer take us forward and unless we get an investor we could be facing relegation in the next few seasons because we will have to sell our best players while every other team is strenthening {Ed025's Note - i dont usually rant...but here is my five penneth worth ....bill kenwright is a very decent man,, and a staunch evertonian, for me this is without question, now i have supported the blues for over 40 years, and to call me a bitter blue..would be a major understatement. the way i see it, bill cannot sustain the club, never mind take it forward, and that is the only reason i want him to go!, if nothing changes..then i believe there is a possibility that we could well be drawn into the relegation dog fight!..but bill is not the only problem we have at the moment, david moyes has a lot to answer for, our team look and play lethargic, there is a definate lack of commitment and team spirit in the side. and tactically, we look inept at times. setting the team up for draws and in some cases limited losses, is not what i would call acceptable!. in the end its an entertainment business, and this season i have yet to feel entertained, not since the likes of mike walker and gordon lee, have we had to put up with such poor fayre, nil satis nisi optimum is the way i was brought up on football, and i for one will not settle for less..so when posters question my loyalty, they are miles wide..i just want the best for the club i love!......rant over

i think we should play 4 2 3 1

Howard
Hibbert Jags Distin Baines
Felli rodders

Drenthe/coleman Billy / Osman gueye/drenthe

saha/vellios

slowly play barkley more and morein jan id sell hietinga 5 mill

get 6 mill from arteta deal = 11mill

kalou-6 mill elm- 4mill

id slowly get fringe player in more such as macaleny jasper johns( is amazing ) and forrester if we have any rbs try them out.

qwith the sighnings and youngster coming up plus other fringe players and subs we would have abit of depth and firepower in kalou and saha/vellios up top plus elm hs scored a few.

You thoughts ed? and others?Staffordian blue {Ed001's Note - I just don't like seeing one up top myself, makes it too easy for the defence and gives the opposition fullback license to attack.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Yeah but we wil have the defencive cover to do this in my eyes and who evers on the wing could stay fairly high up so one of them could act as a second striker in theory

Pienaar in South AFrica to play for Bafana against Ivory Coast. Says he regrets leaving Everton.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Most players who leave Everton tend to regret it. They chase after the money only to realise that there are things money can't buy. I stand to be corrected but I think it was Alan Ball who said "Once you've been touched by Everton, nothing will ever be the same" or words to that effect.

Agree2 Disagree0

Tottenham Hotspur's Steve Pienaar says he doesn't regret rejecting a move to Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Seriously, we are 11 games in to the season, 11 games. Most of you "Evertonians" are speaking like we are already down, like this is the worst Everton side ever... Moyes will always be a legend, and so will Kenwright, they turned us from a side averaging bottom 5 in the league, in to a club averaging top 6. We will finish in the top 10 again, and we will keep plugging away until the financial fair play rules kick in, at that point we will be laughing with our young squad and ability to churn out class players from our acdamey. But the most important thing to remember is 11 games, wow we get so negative so quickly.

completely agree. Ed 'staying in the prem is the best we can hope for!' jeez and you wonder why the players are so low on confidence? good one mate. awsome. really enjoy your comment because it always gives me something to think about at the end of the day - is this man a true supporter?
