The blues need a good start next season and if we stay clear of the annual injury crisis we can aim for a european place or a decent cup run. Hopefully we will get a good run of games out of saha next season, he is such a fantastic player when he is fit, his 4 goal haul against blackpool was great last season {Ed038's Note - That 4 goal haul was indicative of what Saha can produce when fully fit. If only we could get 25-30 games out of him and I think he would be pushing the 20 goal mark.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Saha and beckford will be a great partnership if we can get them both on the pitch for a run of games. Hopefully cahill will chip in with his usual tally of goals {Ed038's Note - I think having had a year to settle and get his confidence up, we'll see good things from Beckford. If Saha stays fit..well who knows?

Agree4 Disagree0

I think we should offload anichebe, he is clearly not good enough and i would like to see more of gueye and velios next season

Agree4 Disagree0

Gueye looks a very promising player, he seems to have the talent and confidence to do well {Ed038's Note - Raw talent. I'm keen to see how he does with a run in the team

Agree2 Disagree0

Gueye needs a run of matches, moyes will hopefully introduce him and velios slowly next season, maybe in cup matches

Any chance we can stop this nonsense being chatted ed. Most decent everton and liverpool fans, don't want to get involved in trash talking each other. I like everton and liverpool being up there so that the derbies have importance, i dislike the reds, but i would prefer to talk about everton on the everton page {Ed038's Note - It's published so we can see how much they prefer to converse with the more educated blue half of the city than their own kind, but I take your point.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Its called banter for a reason u tool

Agree4 Disagree1

I agree, i dislike the reds, but i don't want a slagging session with them on our page. Rodallega and n'zogbia would be top class for us next season. Beckford will be pushing 15 goals next season as well, the lad scores scores some great goals {Ed038's Note - Unless a takeover happens, we won't be able to afford both. I'd sooner have N'Zogbia. Rodallega is vastly over-priced, in my opinion.

Agree1 Disagree1

It is banter, but you don't find blues going on their site and chatting s***e, i would prefer to talk about everton than kennys clowns

Agree5 Disagree1

Defoe and sturridge are much better players than rodallega {Ed025's Note - i would love sturridge.....but feel that chelski, want to keep him..

Agree1 Disagree1

Sturridge or wellbeck on loan maybe?? Wellbeck would get us goals

Agree0 Disagree0

Georgieboy at least all us blues know who our parents are lad Top 6 this season for the blues {Ed038's Note - He does seem to spend a lot of time chatting to blues doesn't he?

Believable2 Unbelievable2

I am sure when his holiday ends and he has to go back to norway, we won't hear from him anymore. He is also bitter about the 4 points we got off them last season

Agree2 Disagree2

I hope your talking about chelsea. i thought u were top 6 last season?? or was i mistaken?

Agree1 Disagree0

When his holiday ends and he goes back to norway, we will hear the end of him. He is still bitter about the 4 points we got of them last season {Ed038's Note - He does seem to be more at ease with blues than his own kind.

Agree1 Disagree1

Haha. behave lad. and what have we got to be bitter about towards you lot?? what would u rather, 6th place and finish above you lot, or, somwhere down there looking above at us?

Agree1 Disagree0

Pearce, barnes, mcateer, avram grant is the shortlist to replace dalglish when he bottles it next season and walks away {Ed038's Note - Woy might be out work by then. Or little Sammy Lee? He did well at the Reebok

Agree2 Disagree2

Liverpool have spent millions and only come one place above the blues, that shows moyes spends wisely while kenny just gives money away. 2-8-1 is the formation liverpool will play next season as no one has told kenny that you need to buy other players rather than midfielders {Ed038's Note - You could be right. I don't see how they'll all fit in otherwise

Agree2 Disagree3

Anyway, u lot got all excited with the li tie (or however you spell it) link with asia....then they realised you where poo and decided to follow someone else instead

Agree1 Disagree2

Here little fishies

Agree2 Disagree0

Liverpool shirts are sold around the world, mainly by people who are desperate for bog roll and can't find any. LFC have a blue away kit for next season, they are finally seeing the light. LFC to send directions out to their fans to find anfield as most of their supporters can't find it on a map

Agree2 Disagree4

10 Jul 2011 20:16:34
never fear bills come up with a cunning plan to get us some money put the transfer kitty on the euro roll over on tusday night

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Moyes would only need 20-30mill to make us european regulars, he is careful with money and is not the sort of manager to spend big. He has always worked on a budget even back to his days at north end {Ed038's Note - So true!

Agree3 Disagree1

10 Jul 2011 18:12:01
All you blue noses are just jealous because you cant get fans anywhere else.

And how stupid were everton to let go of anfield then and go to termite ridden goodison??

We go on this web page for a laugh coz ur all wishing and praying everyday, for just one season to be better than us.

you finished above us once in YEARS.

Championship soon for you lot

THE CITY IS ALL OURS.

Forever in our shadow

forever Biting

All this coz ur parents raised you a blue and your all upset. its ok, id be upset to.

Georgieboy

> > > > {Ed038's Note - Do you really want to hurt me?

Believable3 Unbelievable2

How can the city be yours when you reside in norway?? Spot the scouser on the kop. Barnes and mcateer to take over when things go wrong next season {Ed038's Note - Brilliant!

Agree2 Disagree3

Your hurting every year coz u cant better us > > >
Georgieboy {Ed038's Note - Ga og lek med traffiken min norske kompis

Agree3 Disagree1

Its beacuse we are a worldwide club and can attract fans from other countries.
you lot cant attract anyone other than what ur parents raise.

Georgieboy {Ed038's Note - yeah yeah uansett!

Agree3 Disagree1

2-0 at goodison last season. Take the cheque book off dalglish, he is wasting your money. Kenny needs to be pensioned off. {Ed038's Note - So much sense being spoken tonight

Agree3 Disagree3

Support your local team georgieboy, FC Helsinki probably. Kenny to be pensioned off as he wastes your money on average players {Ed038's Note - I love Woy back or maybe Barnes to replicate his stint at Celtic

Agree1 Disagree3

Ive never heard so much s**te spoken in my life. im sure ive heard the moans n groans about moyes around liverpool. You blue noses aint loyal {Ed038's Note - The moans and groans are coming from you Norwegian fellas. It's just envy. We understand.

Agree2 Disagree0

Listen, i know its hard being in our shadow, i understand your frustation. its ok to cry each season. By the way, ur 2-0 victory will be on dvd soon . well done

Agree2 Disagree1

Kopites treated hodgson badly, the reds have no class, you have the most delusional fans in the country. Liverpool have no chance of top 4 next season. {Ed038's Note - I think they'll struggle for 6th. Maybe they'll want to enter Europe via the fair play league next year? How the might fall eh?

Agree1 Disagree2

Looks like ive found nemo

Everton to move for bellamy and milner in the next few weeks once they have got yak and yobo off the wage bill. Heitinga to be sacrificed as well.

Believable2 Unbelievable3

I would love Milner personally. Absolute class player

Agree2 Disagree3

What a load of cobblers. The guys (Milner) on about 90k a week The poor relationship that exists between the clubs also means they won't do us any favours regarding subsidy of wages etc

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree, i like milner and n'zogbia, i would be made up if we got either of them two, kranjcar might be a more realistic shout as his fee would probably be a bit cheaper {Ed038's Note - I'm not so sure. The cockney barrow boy wants £12M which is laughable

Agree0 Disagree0

One thing is for certain, we need a winger and a striker if we are to hope to have a good season, the defence, goalkeeper and midfield are all areas where we are strong. A quality winger and striker would be the final pieces of the jigsaw {Ed038's Note - I still don't think a deal for N'Zogbia is dead in the water. The Bellamy rumour keeps raising its head too

Agree0 Disagree0

Although we are struggling for transfer funds, I quite like the fact we're a traditional club with traditional values. It would be great to think we could compete for £10-£15million players, however, we have a fantastic group of players who want to play for the club and not for the money. I believe Mr.Kenwright has invested his money in other businesses and shares besides Everton, so anybody who is interested in a takeover would be buying into his other businesses and are reluctant to do so. We've not spent money on players since we got the money for Lescott and I believe any transfer funds - albeit small amounts, for moyes have been "saved" for when the squad geniunely needs rebuilding. We had a fantastic end to the season with a squad that wasn't changed a great deal and I believe Moyes will again be very shrewd in this transfer market and bring a few free transfers in and loan signings, with any funds he has, going on a young, talented striker with proven goalscoring abilities. IMWT

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I agree with what you're saying BUT sadly football is run by money lately and simply without it, we will struggle that little bit more each season. {Ed024's Note - Agreed

Agree3 Disagree0

We can compete for 6/7th at the moment, but if we want any better we need investment {Ed038's Note - Never a truer word spoken. Keep the faith

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jul 2011 13:34:53
I don't know why everyone's so worried. Yes, we do need some new players but we don't need an overhaul. Yes, there isn't much transfer talk out there linking us but if there was who said it would be true? And if it were true would you rather hear all about it in the papers, knowing that saggy faced Harry is stalking Moyes? DM is the greatest manager in the premier league, screw Fergie and sure as hell screw that Red Sh?te pensioner, Moyes is the best and he knows what he has to do and what he will do. Have faith, Europe here we come.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I wouldn't say hes a better manager than Sir Alex Ferguson but David Moyes is one of the best in the premiership
Hes done so much with such a little budget

Agree4 Disagree0

Moyes gets the very best out of the players, he is a good man manager. He seems determined to stay and make us top 6 again {Ed024's Note - hope so

Agree2 Disagree0

10 Jul 2011 13:30:09
Looks as though we should sign James McClean and Lonergan this week. However, i do think one big signing will be on its way. Moyes had meetings with the board before the end of season and since he is staying on at Goodison, that means he is content with what the board have to offer.

LATEST UPDATES:

bilyetdinov: lech poznan and zenit st petersburg are intrested shouldnt expect more than 5m for him

heitinga: shoudnt be sold , but coul get around 8m for him but no current intrest.

arteta: may be off to spain atheltic bilbao and valencia keen also PSG want to take him back to france probably stay though.

rodwell: doubt he will go , speculation has cooled and dont want man city rejects as part of any dal like SWP and bellamy and s**t like that

baines: will stay mancity have signed clichy 7m so dont want him now and bainsey dosnt want to go anyway despite intrest from the s**tE AND ARSENAL.

STURRIDGE: very hopeful but chelski want 20m , loan offer maybe?

NZOGBIA: newcastle , villa and now THE s**tE plus even outsiders sunderland want him 9m price tag will grow to atleast 14m as much as i want him we cant afford him

LONG: 10m??''@@#; no way good talent worth 6m tops others intersted too newcastle and west brom.

LONERGAN: done deal snubbed leeds 250,000 mucha may leave now could get 2-3m for him

ONOUHA: man citys 6th choice centre-back/right back only be around 5m be good signing for bench like

CANALES: loan move from real madrid maybe a good option , newcastle are intrested - hes such a HOT PROSPECT THOUGH

DJ CAMPBELL: 3m move heavily linked , im 95% cetain this is not a paper rumour could do with decent 3rd choice striker then could move YAK on

THANKS FOR LISENING GUYS - MUCH APPERICIATED

Jake Marl - efc4life true blue

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I'd sooner keep Yak than DJ Campbell One source states the price tag for Lonergan is 750k. I can't believe £5M would be spent on Onouha to warm the bench. I can see that being a loan deal. {Ed024's Note - Lonergan fee will be in region of 200k he has gentlemans agreement with Preston and after 10 years service they should honour it as for Onouha he would bed in over one season then replace Distin

Agree2 Disagree0

Onouha, n'zogbia and sturridge would be 3 quality signings that would spur us on for next season. Sturridge would be good on loan, if we couldn't afford the fee

Agree2 Disagree0

Jake it's abe lad some decent shouts but your still a tool dj Campbell is worth 750k and to the person who said onouha would be on the bench we've got phil Neville playin left back as much as he is a good captain like he's awful gueye will be imence next season becford up front with Defoe I'll keep dreamin haha

IM WORRIED BLUE'S LOOKS LIKE NO NEW SIGNINGS AGAIN N'ZOGBIA ON HIS WAY TO VILLA OR THEM LOT ACROSS THE PARK AND US NOT LINKED TO ANYONE AT ALL IF WE HAVE NO NEW FACES IT MEANS NO COMPETITION FOR PLACES PLAYERS ARE COMPLACENT AT THE START OF THE SEASON AND THATS WHY WE ALWAYS START SLOW BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE HAS NEW FACES AND THERE BATTLING TO STAY IN THE FIRST 11 AGAINST US AND WE END UP DROPPING POINTS EVERYTIME WE DONT NEED LOADS JUST FRESH FACES IN THE TEAM TO KEEP EVERYONE ON THERE TOES AND WERE ALMOST THERE WERE NOT THAT FAR OFF FROM BEING A DECENT FORCE IN EUROPE AND IN THE LEAGUE. IF WE CARRY ON STANDING STILL EVERY SUMMER WHILE ALL THE OTHER TEAMS BELOW US IMPROVE THEMSELVES WERE GOING TO FADE AWAY. COME ON BILL GET A GRIP.... I WOULD LOVE TO SEE N'ZOGBIA, DEFOE AND HARGREAVES AT THE CLUB THIS SUMMER.... AND MAYBE DONOVAN ?? HE WOULDN'T COST MUCH NOW DONOVAN AROUND 5 MILLION AND HE WOULD GIVE US 3-4 YEARS, DEFOE IS CLASS AND KNOWS WHERE THE NET IS AND N'ZOGBIA IS JUST WHAT WE NEED ON THE FLANKS, I THINK HARGREAVES WOULD BE A RISK BUT MAYBE WORTH IT IF MOYES COULD GET HIM FIT AND PLAYING REGULAR...... THATS MY WISH LIST ANYWAY WHATS EVERYONE ELSE HOPING FOR

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Dont use capitals in texts emails it's very rude and aggressive

Agree1 Disagree1

I agree with the complacency part but we shouldn't worry mate. Moyes is brilliant. Anyone he brings in will be worth it. I would like Nzogbia but i'd rather spend money on a striker first- Defoe is proven premier league quality so i'd take him or maybe bring in Djalo or Sturridge if we could. Hargreaves is a risk and if we got him on a pay as you play we wouldn't be able to bench him, so i'd offer him a one year deal and have talks later on depending on his performance. i also think we should get one or two squad players on a free, like cover for baines and maybe another striker or mid.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

10 Jul 2011 01:32:49
Really hope moyesy suprises us and buys a quality striker who can get goals, not even 20+ a season striker, even if we can get a striker who will get us in between 12-18 league goals a season that would get us inside the top 6. I think we will be much stronger challenging for the european places. What was it last season......... 15 draws ?? A top striker would of turned a few of them tight draws into 3 points, even 5 of them draws into wins is a extra 10 points on are total from lat season and we would of been up in the top 4, thats the fine line in the premier league Im reading on this site a lot of people are wishing we will get wingers, i agree we do need a winger, but the objective for moyes has to be a striker surely ? Who would people like ? Id love to see defoe in a blue shirt, but i think if he moves he would rather stay in london, i dont know im frustrated like many blue's are but we are everton we have class unlike them lot across the park so lets get behind the blue men no matter what happens, were so lucky to have moyes, we need david moyes more than he needs everton

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Moyes always gets the best out of the players, we will be at least top 7 again as moyes never lets us down.

Agree1 Disagree3

10 Jul 2011 00:40:46
Defoe, defour, tom cleverly, reo-cocker, hargreaves, rodallega, n'zogbia, sturridge and many more are linked come on you blues the reason i think we all know is moyesy is keeping quiet because whatever moyesy spots and finds pugface redknapp bids and robs our players i think its fair to say we should trust in moyesy and i think we do have a small amount of budget, we aint signed anyone recently but as we sign no one we should have a few mils saved, BK knows that he won't give no money at all as that would cause alot more criticism

Everton, top 6 material.

funniest thing i have heard in a while.

you stay negative mate coz you lot are in for the drop.

Forever in our Shadow

Georgieboy

Believable5 Unbelievable3

You have to be that sad to go on the everton site when your a liverpool fan... get a grip.

Agree3 Disagree4

You sad little boy...... what kind of "fan" searches for everton forums and puts comments up ?? Oh that's right a red nose would You will never get everton fans mate, we have integrity and class unlike you lot..... Forever in your shawdow ? We were in the city first, even anfield was ours first THIS CITY'S ALL OURS, THIS CITY'S ALL OURS

Agree6 Disagree4

Liverpool will have carthorse carroll and diving sauraez up front next season. It will be funny watching the s***e play the long ball up to that donkey next season, we will kick their ass in the derby AGAIN.

Agree1 Disagree2

You bitters would love to have them playing for you

Agree3 Disagree2

Kenny to waste liverpools money and get sacked, then hodgson can come back to finish the job of taking you down {Ed038's Note - I'd love to see Woy back, although the honeymoon period for Kenny is over. Lets see how many fickle reds will be calling for his head next season!

Agree1 Disagree0

If we had a investment who would buy first i would get rooney
:)

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Drogba, looking to get away from the club and he could really change our attack, then i would get n'zogbia and maybe a new sub LB, someone of the calibir of warnock... next i would sign kranjcar and sturridge, and to top it off, rasmus elm {Ed025's Note - well...lets hope BK wins the euro-lottery then..

Agree2 Disagree1

Well said Ed, these fans all seem to forget about the enormous salaries these players are on

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jul 2011 21:30:21
Not a rumour but i'm completely unhappy with the lack of investment that this fantastic club has. We are not expecting Messi, Ronaldo etc, but there has to be some investment. It is a false economy we are so close to getting right in the mix for CL places which could have been done with one quality addition per year plus a couple of squad players.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

09 Jul 2011 19:25:23
Sell rodwell, get in defoe and n'zogbia we would be top 6 with a team capable of a good cup run.
