A good point today which i would have taken before the game - just hope we show a bit more intent against newcastle and get the 3 points.

Just been looking at the Liverpool site and all the fans seem to think the ref gave us everything today and the penalty wasn't a penalty. Are they deluded from what I watched they got a lot more than we did from the ref and it was definitely a penalty.

Good luck going forward.

I wish we only had 1% possession and got a draw, made up with that.

They can moan about all the penalties they want when they nearly won the league 4 seasons ago when getting penalties near enough every game. If Williams had done that to Solanke (who is awful btw, these claims he's the best English striking talent under the age of 23, no, he's Lukaku without the goals) then they would be calling for a 10 game ban and for Everton to be fined 10m quid.

Fact is we stopped them playing their natural game, Mane (the African Pele/ Ronaldo) was in Kenny's back pocket and did nothing. Klopp only has one way of playing and when it doesn't work he has no plan b. They only had one more shot on target than us I believe, considering we didn't try to win and they dominated, doesn't look so good on the reds does it.

Jurgen Klopp has never warmed to me, I always liked Benitez despite his silly comments at times. Klopp is a big child and his post match interview was embarrassing, his fake passion on the touchline annoys me and this just proves again how much of a petulant sore loser (and he didn't even lose hahahahaha) the man is. Always blames other things when he gets it wrong.

Oh and reds fans saying we only came for a point and celebrated a draw.

Coming for a point isn't a bad thing, managers have won league titles and champions leagues when getting draws away from home. Maybe Klopp should learn that and he won't get spanked by City and Tottenham away from home.

Your team did a lap of honour going mental after a draw with West Brom (the excuse of it was to thank the fans is bollocks) and when sturridge scores the equaliser at Goodison youse went mad like youse just won the league.

Happy with a point, the aftermath just proves why Liverpool are so hated, can't take it when they don't get their own way. Fans deluded as per.

I live in Thailand now and watched the game live, 100% it was a Penalty. The commentator said after that, it was the first penalty Everton had been awarded at Anfield in thirty years, so they cannot complain at all, Big Sam said it right, there's no soft Penalties, it IS or is NOT a Penalty, and guess what yesterday we had a Referee brave enough to do the right thing and point to the spot. There are many referees over the past 30 years should be ashamed of themselves for not doing the right thing.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 19:52:21
Just seen the Anfield Cheerleaders post game interview, this fella is an absolute end of a fruitfly. It was a penalty, your dodgy defender gifts another goal, get over it. You may have good attacking players but your defenders are still that one mistake away from a game changer.
We have this in Williams but today he was outshone by Lovren for stupid tackles.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

10 Dec 2017 20:00:29
We had Williams and Martina at the back and the African Ronaldo and Messi couldn’t do anything, they can go on about how bad we are all they want, they didn’t win and that’s the end of it.

Bluegrey that tickled me, the anfield cheerleader. I'll use that one in work against the red fans.

10 Dec 2017 20:48:38
Would love to know the total distance travelled by balls kicked by Williams today. He made some mistakes but spent most of the game doing what Stones never did - getting well rid.

Martina was bloody awful though. I feel about him like I did about Niasse - it's not his fault we bought him but he's absolute shite. He literally just fell over for Salah's goal.

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 21:21:51
We didn't buy him, he was a free agent, Koeman knew him from Southampton and was attempting a quick fix while Coeman is out. Then Kenny emerges and Baines gets crocked, lucky for Martina and crap (sort of) for us. Mind you he has played the last 4 games so effectively we have done well with 10 men. Imagine what we will do once up to full strength. On that by the way, once Coeman is fit, I would like to see Kenny retain the RB spot with Coeman in the RWB slot. The right side of our Team will be awesome.

Liverpool fan in peace, to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Everton showed little or no ambition and for a Derby I expected more. The penalty was soft but a penalty none the less, if Lovren just stands his ground he probably gets done for diving but he felt contact and went down, that’s the modern game and I can imagine if it goes against you you would be saying the same.
Good luck with big sams footy I don’t think it’ll be long before yo u get frustrated with the kick and run tactics. i think with your form you would see it as a very good point but if that was any other season you would be unhappy with the approach.

All in all a disappointed red, enjoy your point and we will do it all again in the cup.

Believable3 Unbelievable6

10 Dec 2017 19:20:51
He has had two weeks to lift a team shot in confidence, he has to work with what he’s been left, Sam got his tactics spot on, pick up results, build confidence, then build where needed in January, if I was a Red I would be more concerned in Klopp changing a winning team and dropping two of your Fab Four.

As or Sams footy, he can only set up with what he has to hand, no Baines, no Coleman. No top striker, no MCCarthy, no Bolasie, Judge Sam, when he can bring players in.

Decent to come in peace, but have a good look at Klopp, he cost you today.

Agree3 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 19:21:34
Have to agree to be honest. But that point in this moment in time is like 3 for us. He can only set out with what players he’s got. With the players named from the starting line up I can only say I’m ecstatic with a point. After he’s had a transfer window etc, I will have a different opinion!

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 19:29:16
3 weeks ago we were just above relegation place, we’ve had a few good results and just started building some confidence back up, on the other hand you have been scoring for fun And tearing teams to shreds! U expect more from a derby? A 4 or 5 hammering at this time wouldn’t of done us much good would it? Sorry we didn’t try at take you on at your own game! We got a new manager that’s trying to put his stamp on things! And it’s going to take time! I can understand your very frustrated but you’re going to get teams that set up like this against you! You need to find a way to break them down!

Agree3 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 19:33:24
Wyfed and that is the crux mate. We bought and brought in god awful players and Big Sam is left with the mess. We have to struggle through until January or/ and until he and his staff can get us fit. The way Liverpool have been demolishing Teams I would say Big Sam played the right tactics today. As they say you can have the ball all you want but at the end of the game the result is the result.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 19:33:45
Fair points, but this one isn’t on Klopp for me, he was a couple of mistakes away from getting three points by resting two players. Last year we couldn’t rotate, now we have a bit of depth and if Mane squared it or Lovren isn’t clumsy then we win, you offered very little threat. Football is fine margins and today they weren’t in our favour, .

Good luck for the rest of the season, except against us and I am intrigued to see what he can do in the window with cash. He has never had the opportunity but the summer proves money is t everything and he also proved it’s not all about money at Bolton.

I am over the moon with todays result. let's be honest playing with martina and williams and we kept liverpool down to three shots on target. With our dodgy defense i thougt today was a great defensive performance. Sam got it spot on. We were terrible let's be honest but it was a great point for us.

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 19:37:40
Agree with some of the above but if we played the way klop would have liked then we would have been slaughtered with the team we have at the moment and think once we inject a fe more quality players it will be different, re the pen well the amount we get i take that any day, after all we are still a very long way off the amount we have had against us, all in all it was a game of horses for causes but it won't always be that way.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 20:22:35
It was a sensible way of playing. Imagine trying to pick us back up after an anfield thrashing? You lot are just bitter and frustrated you didn't and couldn't get your way. Liverpool are poor at game management, and are prone to errors defensively. No balance and not good enough at playing through tight spaces.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 20:33:51
Bitter? I am not sure how that came across in my post.

We all knew Sam would set you up to defend I just expected some threat from your team. Course we are disappointed as we all want to win and it was individual errors that cost us today nothing else.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 20:59:15
I did say you lot not specifically directing at your comment. However your post seems bitter to me, at least an undertone. Not rude, impolite or offensive in any way but a slight essence of spitting a dummy out. Not nearly as some others posting on here though. You come across nice on the face of it but a little bit patronising, in my opinion anyway as interpretating text is not the most accurate method of communication.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 21:12:52
Appreciate the honesty mate, written communication is sometimes hard to interpret. My post was just to highlight that it was disappointing from our point of view and it will be interesting to see what Sam does in the market.

Sam frustrated us massively and that was the game plan fair play in that regard.

Ill tell you how your bitter wyred, you come on here sayin liverpool fan in peace then proceed to have a dig at us, showed no ambition, gona get bored of allardyces hit an run tactics. allardyce got his tactics spot on today, ye we would love to go out and play yous off the park but that's not going to happen at the minute with everything were going through as in confidence, players injured, square pegs in round holes, a lack of a 20 goal a season striker. Allardyce did what any manager worth his money would do against yous in this current form, sit back in numbers, frustrate the life out of you an hopefully get a goal on the counter or set piece. Its not our fault your team is so one dimensional and the german cheerleader hasn't got the tactical nous to change and tinker mid game to suit what he's playing against. So do us all a favour an go back over to your own shite. sorry i mean site an pass some tissues round the rest of the cry babies who thought this game was won last night. we do not choose we are chosen. With regards to Aubameyang and some Blues getting excited with Big Sam being able to attract big names . Campo Djorkaeff and Okocha all had one thing in common, their best days were well behind them . If we are to attract this level of player we will need to pay much more than any other suites, and sign other big names . I wouldn’t celebrate too much I’m surprised you seem almost proud of that performance, barring a weak penalty the game was played in your half, Henderson made more passes on his own than your whole team did, the first long ball was played within 5 seconds. Granted you go the point but you won’t always be that lucky. You need to sort Martina out that fella is woeful, I’m surprised he stayed on the pitch, bar the penalty Rooney was woeful he’s lost weight but a lot of strength, that young defender looks good gave a good account of himself.

I am celebrating you barely created a decent chance all game. We were crap but well organised at the back and that was the main focus. As for Martina, he's been hung out to dry, he's barely a right back let alone a left back. Fair play to the lad giving it his all.

Mr Barnes? What did you expect? You’ve been scoring for fun, and tearing teams to shreds! Did you think we were going to come and take you on at your own game! We were always going to come and try and keep it tight! The fact of the matter is that klopp didn’t play the Brazilians because they prob didn’t fancy playing in the snow at it was to cold! We’re were poor but our tactics worked! You weren’t good enough to break us down! You’ve got a nerve coming on here and slagging Martina off! Granted he was awful but he’s playing out of position! What’s lovern’s excuse! Lol so sad!

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 19:05:57
What you are missing Mr Barnes is your lot have reached your peak, whereas Sam is still trying to sort our mess out and he will, if you cannot beat a team who has had two weeks to work with a new manager and shot in confidence then it will only get worse for you, if you want to blame someone, take a good look at Klopp, scoring goals for fun and he benches two of your so called Fab Four, do not fix what is not broken.

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 19:27:09
They want it all their own way all the time, we could not setup to be expansive and attack attack attack as we don't have the disciplined personnel to do this.
Liverpool are a very good counter attack side but when faced with organised sides, they are not the free scoring machine the press have baptised them to be.
Lets have it right Martina is not a left back and definitely not our first choice, Kenny done well again today, but again he is not our first choice RB, Rooney was played on the right to offer support to Kenny, so again not really the first choice for that position. The side today was selected to do the job of getting at least a point, which we got, the penalty, well if you shove in the back then its a foul, Calvert Lewin done it to Lovren in the first half in their half and the ref gave a foul, even though I thought it was a shoulder charge but the player got himself in between attacker and ball and invited the foul, when Lovren done it, that's clever defending but when Calvert Lewin does it, well its a dive, they really do make me laugh.

10 Dec 2017 20:04:10
Good point on Henderson he reminds me of a poor man's Wilkins without the skill and perhaps not as crablike, the occasional pass does go backwards.
