Think a lot of people on here need to chill out, this is a rumour and banter site yet when someone posts a rumour people jump on it and want hard evidence or like I found myself the other day when I had a bit of banter with another poster with a little tongue in cheek comment someone jumped all over it with long winded drivvle, let's relax fellas and enjoy being blue! Love you all.

{Ed025's Note - well said ste..

The problem is that it's 30 yrs of pent up frustration, coupled with a renewed expectation. added with a tinge of crappy reporting. caused many to undergo a meltdown. but for those that can remember far back enough - that saw the great sides of the 80s, went through agent johnsons days, the dogs of war days and through to present day. this is the most exciting time in the last 30 yrs for the club. so remind urselves of that, suck in a big deep breath and wait to see what transpires😁.

I'll be honest GB. I've had to rein myself in over last three weeks or so. the club knows what they are doing. COYB!

Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinić for €25m anyone?

Believable3 Unbelievable2

{Ed025's Note - yes please..

10 Aug 2017 18:22:34
Do you rate him Ed? Not really seen much of him since his Blackburn days so would love to know more on why you rate him.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - what i have seen i like ST, two footed, quick and knows where the net is so whats not to like, done very well for fiorentino and scored goals for croatia as well so would tick a lot of boxes mate..

10 Aug 2017 19:04:34
so I have just scoured YouTube for some footage, not just two footed but seems good with his head as well from what I see, keeps the ball well and doesn't get knocked off the ball easily, lovely little piece where he tricks his way passed that Juan cuadrado and muscles through the tackle drawing a foul for a penalty. Having pace would nudge him ahead of Giroud then and I guess he'll have a hunger and desire to show those Blackburn days were a blip
Seems to me that there's not a great deal of decent strikers about currently who have the skill set Koeman is seeking so 25m euros for someone who can fill that for the next few seasons would be a good deal for me.

Hi all, what you all think of Nicola Kalanic sounds like he's worth a bid to me, on another note nice to see the usual minority posts getting the thumbs down that they deserve, not many of them left now, cheers GuernseyBlue.

Hi GB I just posted something similar before I saw your post, sorry.
To answer your question though if he is available it would be rude not to take him on.
His record in Seria A was very good last season and I think he's well worth a punt.

What does everyone think to Barkley possibly staying?

10 Aug 2017 15:31:39
If he does well in training makes the match squad and puts a shift in for the team then fair play to him still can offer something especially with the array of talent being brought in, just won't be an assured starter.

mixed feelings, way I see it (more than likely the same as every blue) was of course I wanted ross to sign and be apart of this clubs process he strengthens are team losing him we become weaker.

when he didn't want to sign I wanted rid soon as firm believer that if they don't want to play here tell them to do one, but at the right fee

aslong as its dragged I've become bored of reading about him really

on this news today I think great he stays more squad depth etc etc good player and hey maybe hell enjoy his season and sign on, but I doubt this.
otherside of me says if he stays this window we are getting no fee for a very talented lad on his day, so on a footballing note yes happy for him to stay. business side? not at all.

Not good enough for me, unless I've missed something and passing backwards and sideways is in fashion.

He just hasn't progressed at all. Ok I grant him he was an exciting prospect but 23/ 24? is about time he showed more, much more.
I take these summer headlines with a pinch of salt. I have no problem with a young lad saying silly things, I even understand the "game" an agent plays. This lad is in some trouble from what I hear and I think he wants to get out of the area too?
I wish him well and hope he learns some lessons and ultimately goes on to achieve all that his talents promised. just somewhere else for me. A penny north of £20 mil considering his contract, rip their arm off!

He cares little for the club, let's get shut and get someone in who wants to play for Everton, we need the money to put towards a top striker if possible.
The thing is even if we get less money than what we want, it is better than nothing at the end of the season.

{Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

10 Aug 2017 21:41:45
I get what you all say and I do agree however if he comes in, puts in a shift over the first half of season, gets his head in the right place playing amongst the talent bought in bangs in some goals, supplies some assists and agrees to a new deal how would we all feel about him then? Would we still want him out?

The club wants it, the player wants it and Swansea will need the cash over a grumpy player. Papers getting involved and causing a tiny sh9t storm. it will happen by the end of the window. Chill Winston.
